For 2 nights we were able to experience Simone's hospitality and warmth. Anyone who loves the peace and beauty of nature has come to the right place. In addition to great tips on excursions, we were treated to a great breakfast and a sunset dinner in the evening.

Wonderful location! On the one hand, you found peace and quiet in this small, secluded mountain village in the middle of the vineyards and forests - perfect for relaxing away from the turbulent flow of tourists. On the other hand, it is so cleverly located that you can easily visit Arezzo, Siena (and perhaps Florence) on day trips if you want, and there are plenty of other destinations. La Canonica has been extremely tastefully renovated, everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good. The two hosts are extremely nice and accommodating, explain everything in detail, and are happy to take the time for a little chat when it's convenient. If there is the opportunity to take part in an evening or lunch menu cooked by them, and definitely take part - certainly one of the tasty dinners that we were able to enjoy on our trip to Tuscany. OSTERIA ALLA VILLA

04/11/2024: Se tutti i ristoratori fossero così, sarebbe meglio per tutti. Osteria tipica Toscana, con piatti ottimi e tradizionali, vasta scelta di ottimi vini ma soprattutto grande professionalità, gentilezza e attenzione al cliente, in particolare a chi come noi ha diverse allergie alimentari come glutine, uova, frutta secca ecc. Tornerò sicuramente molto volentieri.
02/11/2024: Un ristorantino piccino in una piazzetta silenziosa. Molto carino, consiglio assolutamente di andarci, non potete perdervi la loro cucina. Prodotti del territorio ben lavorati, davvero gustosi! Il proprietario simpaticissimo e la figlia sono davvero super gentili. Esperto di vini vi guiderà nella scelta. Io personalmente ho assaggiato vari piatti e consiglio assolutamente il carpaccio d’oca (prima di questa cena non mangiavo oca!) me ne sono innamorata. Ottimo il timballo di melanzane, i pici al ragù di cinta sono una garanzia, ottimo il galletto al forno e la fiorentina. Abbiamo chiuso in bellezza con cantucci e vin santo. Che dire noi torneremo sicuramente.

14/01/2025: A simple little place, at its best in summer, where you can eat the best pizza in Valdichiana!
05/01/2025: Lots of choice of pizzas, those taken very good and digestible, excellent red beer, good desserts, fair price. The only problem: the room is small and when it is full the noise is really a lot, perhaps installing some sound-absorbing panels would be worth considering.
