What a meal! Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the first and second courses, and even the endless array of desserts (special mention for the yogurt and berry panna cotta), which were truly excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

I was invited to this place for my birthday on Sunday.
It's really a charming old rectory converted into an inn.
It's furnished with old-fashioned peasant objects.
The outdoor garden is also very beautiful.
They serve a single, surprise menu for everyone.
Appetizers, first courses, second courses with side dishes, and desserts.
They always come with second helpings.
Everything is delicious and authentic, all homemade.
Excellent raw meat and roast beef.
Reservations are a must; otherwise, it's difficult to find a table.
I don't know the price because they paid for me.

The food is good, nothing to complain about. The only flaw of this place, and especially of the owner, is that they only accept cash or Satispay for payment. They don't have a POS, but I think it suits them that way. What a shame.

Going to La Canonica, owned by Silvana, is like immersing yourself in a pristine world of mountain traditions, a genuine atmosphere, and authentic food.
Even nutrition education is taught as it once was. If a child initially refuses a food, they're simply invited to taste it and then decide whether they like it or not.
Well done, Silvana, we'll definitely be back.

If you want to eat at Silvana's, you should know that you can't expect the usual anonymous, detached service. Enjoy the splendor of nature and have a laugh—it won't hurt! We need more people like the legendary Silvana.
