The atmosphere is very simple and a bit dated.
The service is friendly and fast.
The dishes are very simple (appetizer: mixed cured meats, Russian salad, and melon; first course: ravioli with ragù, tagliolini with mushroom sauce, pesto lasagna; second course: mixed Italian-style fried fish, cima, veal with tuna sauce, roast beef, etc.), traditional Genoese food, all good.
What really bothered me was not having a menu with the prices of the dishes.
I made a mistake in not asking for the prices of everything.
The final price was a bit steep.

I've been there before and couldn't wait to go back. For a Ligurian cuisine purist like me, this restaurant is the best. The pesto lasagna is amazing, literally covered in a creamy, generous pesto. Fresh, hand-rolled pasta. Another amazing dish is the Genoese fritto misto, which will bring tears to your eyes. Super-generous portions. In the end, you pay a fair price, perhaps even a little, for what you've eaten and drunk, and you leave satisfied.
I hope you maintain this approach because it's a winning one. Congratulations.

This Ligurian restaurant is where I go every time I'm in Giovi to visit my granddaughter Mirta. The food is excellent, with specialties of the highest quality, and the service is priceless. A must-visit if you're in the area, but it's also worth a trip from Genoa.

We stumbled upon it by mistake on our way back from Corsica. The first thing I said was, "Finally in Italy!" The Italian-style fried food was spectacular and plentiful. The fresh pesto was delicious, though the ravioli were perhaps a little salty.
The very kind lady even offered my daughter ice cream.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo cenato in questo locale in occasione del compleanno di mia Figlia........ tutto buonissimo da i primi al sublime fritto misto di terra alla genovese........cosa posso dire...... ritorneremo sicuramente per qualche pranzo.

I found this place by chance and it was a wonderful discovery. The dishes were exceptional... including the "scarpetta" (tossed bread)... the atmosphere was very pleasant and family-like, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming.
We'll definitely be back.
