La Campanella In Treviso

This is my second time there, because the first was excellent. However, this one (Sunday) is one to forget. The appetizer was good, the first courses (spaghetti with clams and pasta with spider crab) were completely bland and tasteless. We didn't order the second course, which was excellent the first time. So, if I go back, I won't order the first courses. Prices are moderately high.

Seriousness and professionalism

This trattoria is located on a fairly unassuming street, surrounded by a few shops and apartment buildings. It can almost go unnoticed. It's mostly word of mouth that lets you know you're entering a restaurant specializing in seafood, which is very good. The owner has extensive experience in the restaurant business, and it shows in the dishes. The linguine with octopus and mussels is delicious.

A simple but welcoming place, we ate excellent fish, both appetizers (we tried the cooked ones), first courses, and second courses. The service was perhaps a little slow, but overall we were satisfied.

Historic seafood trattoria just outside the walls of Treviso. Simple, classic traditional dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is a reminder of the 1980s, but still retains its charm. Reservations recommended, even during the week.
