The oldest restaurant in Rome. My family has been going there for three generations. It's a touristy place, but more importantly, it's a regular place. Everything is excellent.

I was charged 28 euros for Baccala instead of 20 euros… either the menu or the note was wrong. Although, the dishes & the atmosphere were good.

Discovered via a video reel, I was in Rome for work nearby, and it became my lunch break! Everything according to tradition! Lunch included Carciofo alla giudia (Jewish-style artichokes), tagliolini with anchovy and cheese sauce, a coffee and water: €27. Excellent food and generous portions, so it's a shame about the desserts (I had my eye on tiramisu, too bad). The atmosphere is just like the photos, and the staff is experienced and has a "Roman charm" that never hurts. Congratulations, and I can't wait to go back.

We were greeted with kindness and friendliness, and treated very well! The atmosphere was pleasant, always busy, and the food was delicious (the artichoke alla giudia was superb). Highly recommended.

13/12/2025: A truly beautiful and welcoming restaurant, with fantastic, kind, and helpful staff. The food was excellent! Authentic Roman cuisine, traditional and delicious. The waiters were truly friendly and worked hard and with dedication. I would return a hundred times over!

19/11/2025: spectacular, excellent quality/price ratio
17/11/2025: We arrived around 9 pm and stayed until 11 pm. The atmosphere was warm, the service attentive, and menus in French are available if needed. The dishes were delicious and particularly generous. The value for money is excellent. As for the tiramisu, freshly made, it was simply delicious. I highly recommend it! 🤌🏼
