the only delicious food we ordered here was the oxtail stew. it was very tender, paired with delicious tomato sauce.
the pasta with clams tasted like pasta water. the carbonara was bland. the breads they offered were burnt, not sure if that was intentional 🤷♀️

A classic Roman trattoria, just like the service and the menu offering authentic Roman dishes. Tucked away in a narrow alley near Via del Corso, the atmosphere is instantly relaxed and laid-back. The Roman-style artichokes, tripe, and Montblanc (a dessert you won't often find on the menu) are delicious.

I don't want to review this place to prevent tourists from flocking there, but I also feel it's right to share the magnificent experience, hoping others can try it too. One of the oldest places in Rome, 500 years old. Traditional, home-cooked dishes, cooked to perfection, rustic, and with genuine staff. Not to be missed.

I had dinner with my girlfriend at this historic restaurant in Rome. Leaving aside the history behind it, well over 500 years of business, I have to compliment the entire staff.
Starting with the very authentic menu, featuring traditional Roman dishes, expertly executed, at a price well below the city average, but still fair. The waiters are professional, kind, and fun, and the quality is top-notch, including the well-stocked wine cellar. Highly recommended. A special mention goes to Pino, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, a true professional.

A superb experience, given the wonders Rome has to offer, especially culinary ones. At this restaurant, I fulfilled my dream of eating traditional Roman dishes: Jewish-style artichokes, zucchini flowers, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, carbonara, lamb, oxtail stew, puntarelle, and a mont blanc that took my breath away. I sincerely thank the owner, Marina, for her exceptional manners and treatment of us. Not to mention the restaurant's history, which dates back to 1518, I highly recommend it.
