I go there often but I have always used the restaurant which is always well stocked and of excellent quality.

An older hotel with a lovely garden and attached restaurant. The hotel is located right next to the town's train station. Trains are audible during the day, but there is no train service at night. The rooms are old, but very well-maintained and clean. The food was very good. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection (mostly Italian). Dinner was a set three-course menu; guests could not choose their dishes. The cuisine was traditional Italian. Service in every area, from reception and rooms to the restaurant, was excellent. An ideal location for a train trip to Milan. Milan Cadorna station is very close to the city center. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo.

I go every now and then to eat fried dumplings, which are really excellent.

A hotel with soul, but the rooms are neglected but clean, the service is nice, the food is good, but the breakfast is monotonous, for example, there is no fresh fruit or vegetables.

The staff's professionalism was the true highlight of the day: impeccable, attentive to detail, and with an empathy that made everything magical. The food was delicious, and what a rich appetizer!! There were no negative surprises, except for my own, as a somewhat anxious bride, who put everyone to the test with my last-minute changes and requests. Yet, they handled everything with a smile, turning every unexpected event into an opportunity to amaze us. The garden is truly enchanting: a romantic oasis with natural elements and thoughtful details that lend themselves perfectly to every moment. And what about practical convenience? Having a dedicated support room for last-minute needs, from touch-ups to makeup, for the children, or rest for the elderly. It made the day seamless and peaceful for all our guests. Thank you so much to Alessandro, Irene, Sara, Rocco, and the entire staff at La Bussola: you made our day unforgettable! I strongly advise everyone not to be blinded by passing fads; opt for those who truly know how to create true emotions! You will never regret it. Unique hotel with a very distinctive design. We stayed in the separate building in the garden. The room had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a decent bathroom. Again, the decor was unique. Dinner was good, with lots of pasta, but you're in Italy. Breakfast was mostly sweets and little to no bread. Good coffee! The service was friendly and helpful. There's nothing to do in this village, but there is a train station to several beautiful destinations. The train stops running around 10:00 and starts again at 7:00, which can be a bit of a nuisance.

In a world of standardized hotels, the rooms here have personality and a unique aesthetic, with period furniture and excellent mattresses. Very clean, and the staff is very friendly.

We will be using the catering service for the wedding ceremony. They were professional and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Once a year, we stay overnight while traveling through. The hotel is mystical, magical. The rooms are dated, but clean. The ladies at the reception are very friendly!

Unfortunately it didn't quite deliver what we expected. But it's still a nice place. An affordable hotel on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
