Lovely place and wonderful staff, and the pizza is exceptional. I've never had it this good, not even in Naples!! Everything was amazing and I highly recommend it!! My new favorite place ❤️

This well-known Palermo pizzeria has a new location, now right in the city center. A welcoming place, although unfortunately very noisy (I recommend installing soundproofing), run by young, enthusiastic, and very polite people. They offer a variety of pizzas, from traditional to more elaborate, topped with selected local ingredients. The fresh fries are excellent. Booked through TheFork and the discount was correctly applied. Recommended.

A quiet place in the center of Palermo, just steps from the Politeama and the Teatro Massimo. We were staying at the Hotel Mediterraneo across the street, so we decided to try this Neapolitan pizzeria. It's a rustic, very minimalist place, with excellent, fast, and friendly service. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't right. Neapolitan dough isn't my cup of tea, but what ruined it was the cooking process. The bottom was very burnt, which negatively affected the flavor. The prices are still high, around €10 for a diavola, but the water is what really impressed us: €2 for 500ml: definitely overpriced!

Staying with my family at the Mediterraneo last night, we decided to have a pizza just for a change, and I must say that my daughter and wife were delighted to try this place. We received a warm welcome from Andrea, who gave us clear explanations. We ate delicious pizza, perfect thin crust, just the way we like it, and just the right amount of time to relax. The price was right. We were really happy. I recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo. We'll be back next time we're in Palermo. Thank you.

09/02/2026: A must-try experience if you come to Palermo. A local recommended it, and it's definitely worth it.
25/01/2026: At the Mercato del Capo in Palermo, there's this wonderful street food restaurant where you can find many local delicacies, such as a spleen sandwich, arancini, cardoons, fried artichokes and broccoli, panelle, sardines "alla beccafico," and traditional baked pasta with pasta rings and a sensational ragù. Not to mention the fish and grilled meat main courses, both excellent! I spent a weekend in Palermo and had lunch both days at Dainotti's inside the market, among the stalls and the colors of fruit and vegetables. The people who work there are incredibly courteous, almost as if they were inviting you into their home to eat their traditional dishes, the simplicity and genuine hospitality. The spleen sandwich is top notch! A hug to Dainotti's from Arianna...see you soon!
