Restaurante pequeno e aconchegante. Comida com ingredientes locais. A lasagna estava divina e a carne suculenta e no ponto. De sobremesa experimentamos o tiramisu e sorvete de pistache, ambos deliciosos!

La Bucaccia restaurant in Cortona is a basement restaurant with some natural light coming in from the entryway door and a small window. The restaurant is small and the seating is tight which allows diners to interact with other patrons out of necessity and courtesy rather than by choice. The stone floor is irregular causing some chairs to wobble like you’re eating on a small skiff at sea during rough passage. The wine options by the glass are limited to one white and several reds, on the higher end of reasonable cost. I would recommend the Crostini Toscani for a starter which is served on 5 small soft pieces of delicate bread. I hope that if you are a couple sharing, that your relationship is strong enough to endure the negotiations for the odd number 5th piece. I will also recommend the thin pasta lasagna if freshly made that day. The Pappard Cinghia was exceptional in quality. The portion sizes are moderate and plenty. I have been rating Tiramisu on my 2 month long journey from Sicily through Italy. I lean toward lighter, heavy coffee flavoring and dislike creamy inventions sprinkled with too much chocolate. The sponge in this tiramisu served was delightfully dry and crispy with a strong coffee flavor yet the sponge to cream and chocolate ratio was too much, overpowering the texture and coffee flavor of the preferred sponge flavor. Therefore, the tiramisu is rated at 7/10 (10 being highest score.) The service was attentive by a signora who was serving about 20 patrons and giving us her best. She was as pleasant as anyone can be in a hurry. She was accompanied by an older signore manager/owner who was disingenuous in trying to be welcoming and curt in delivering services. So, a mixed review for an annually awarded Michelin recommended restaurant. More like a good surgeon with bad bedside manners.

I finally managed to return to this delightful restaurant thanks to the gift of a special friend, thanks to Mr. Romano friendly and always ready for every request 🤩 The girls are nice and attentive, I CANNOT believe the negative reviews 🤔 the place is beautiful and classy, the prices are appropriate for the food and presented very well.
The pici were extraordinary and the tagliatelle super... we will return soon from Perugia😍 RECOMMENDED for those who love to drink and eat at 🔝

Sensational experience. It's one of those places that leaves you something, and that doesn't allow you to remain indifferent. A welcoming place animated by involved staff and led by a charismatic leader who gives attention, stories and maxims to customers. The product is a delirium of pleasure in every dish, from the appetizer to the dessert, presented in a special way with careful explanations. Wonder.

Abbiamo mangiato sabato sera in questo ristorantino molto carino a livello di location, e anche in fatto di qualità del cibo. Tagliere di formaggi, tartare di carne e sformatini di verdure per antipasto, tutto buono. Io poi ho preso una tagliatella all'uovo fatta in casa con tartufo che era eccellente, e il mio compagno i pici al ragù di Chianina e una tagliata con patate. Per dolce la zuppa inglese top, anche se leggermente troppo alcolica. Un vino rosso in accompagno e la gentilezza del proprietario che a tutte noi donne ha regalato la mimosa e dei cioccolatini essendo appunto l'8 marzo. Esperienza piacevole anche se ovviamente il conto un po' caro.
