La Bucaccia In Cortona

As a Cortona native who hasn't lived in Cortona for a long time, I loved the place, the owner, and the staff. Excellent food, divine tiramisu (recommended by a delightful employee), and an incredible wine cellar. I'll be back in the fall.

We received a very warm welcome and the owner spoiled us. He was very generous and kind. The food is excellent, especially the stewed beef and the fennel salami. Thank you sincerely!

Such an amazing experience! The food is high quality and super delicious and the service is kind. The wine selection is amazing as well. Would recommend this place if you want to enjoy the best Italian dishes.

The best dishes with special tastes hidden by the chef; you have to be here to experience the Toscana style. The wine selection was excellent to capture famous tastes and local vinery brands. I will soon be in Cortona again and my restaurant is already clear to reserve a table.

I came to this restaurant with high hopes for its reputation and everything was beyond expectations! I am a pasta lover, I like the traditional ones from every area and at this restaurant I ate the best pici, handmade, perfect texture and size and the extraordinary sauce which although it is asked to be spicy, is not disturbing, like I have eaten in other locations! The meat the same, prepared exactly as I asked for it MEDIUM and I was asked if it was okay, a sign that they took into account my request and were interested if the dish put on the table was the one I asked for! I consider the wine to be for connoisseurs, a fine wine, presented before the owner of the restaurant, involved and present 100% in this business! The very friendly staff who answer any question with professionalism! As for the prices, decent even low for the experience! Thank you BUCACCIA! ❤️

Amazing place, wonderful food...10 and praise, incredible atmosphere

The Sidedish came after I was done with the meat. Charged us a glas of wine more than we had. Food was good but these kind of mistakes shouldn’t happen in a Michelin recommended restaurant.

Restaurante pequeno e aconchegante. Comida com ingredientes locais. A lasagna estava divina e a carne suculenta e no ponto. De sobremesa experimentamos o tiramisu e sorvete de pistache, ambos deliciosos!

Abbiamo mangiato sabato sera in questo ristorantino molto carino a livello di location, e anche in fatto di qualità del cibo. Tagliere di formaggi, tartare di carne e sformatini di verdure per antipasto, tutto buono. Io poi ho preso una tagliatella all'uovo fatta in casa con tartufo che era eccellente, e il mio compagno i pici al ragù di Chianina e una tagliata con patate. Per dolce la zuppa inglese top, anche se leggermente troppo alcolica. Un vino rosso in accompagno e la gentilezza del proprietario che a tutte noi donne ha regalato la mimosa e dei cioccolatini essendo appunto l'8 marzo. Esperienza piacevole anche se ovviamente il conto un po' caro.
