La Bruschetta In Merano

We went to the La Bruschetta pizza restaurant in a group of 18 people, including boys. We all ordered pizza. The overall experience was not negative, but there were some aspects to improve. The service was friendly but rather slow: the pizzas arrived in batches of two or three at a time, which resulted in some starting to eat while others still waited. About half an hour passed between the first and last pizza, which penalized the experience a bit. The pizzas were good overall, but mine had rather burnt edges, making them inedible. A small detail that makes the difference. The cover price was €1.50, acceptable, even if the service received does not make it completely justified. We also ordered a tiramisu: good and a generous portion, almost for two people, although €6.50 may seem a bit expensive, it must be said that it was really large. A critical point concerns the toilets: the organization of the spaces is not very clear. The men's bathroom is located behind the entrance door of the anteroom, so those who don't know this risk entering the wrong one. A sliding door or clearer signage could easily solve the problem. Finally, a warning for those arriving by car: parking in the area is very difficult to find. Overall, I would say a 3 star experience out of 5, maybe 3 and a half, with room for improvement especially in the management of service times and in the care of the pizza.

The table must absolutely be booked in advance (a couple of days), recommended! Excellent pizza and cuisine! 10 Stars out of 5 possible!!!! Everything excellent! 👍

This restaurant was recommended to us and since we are food lovers, especially when it comes to Italian food, we followed this recommendation. We were a little disappointed... the food was tasty, but overall it wasn't anything special. Bruschetta was ok as an appetizer, but we've had much tastier ones. The pasta was homemade and the pizza from the stone oven - so far, so great...unfortunately the pasta was a bit sticky and the pizza was very soggy in the middle, which was probably due to the high number of people. That's why the staff seemed quite curt and serious - Italian warmth was unfortunately out of place in this rustic atmosphere😌 But the price/performance ratio was right. Our conclusion - if something is free there again, we'd be happy to come back spontaneously.
