In search of the best ice cream parlor in Domaso, I landed here – and what can I say: a direct hit! An Italian puppeteer once told me that the best ice cream is always hidden in silver ice barrels, "well chilled like on a glacier," and not under a mountain of cookie crumbs and sweets. That's exactly what it was here – pure, creamy, divine. Our recommendation: Strawberry yogurt. A taste like a mini-vacation in the Alps, but without the cold feet. The saleswoman? So welcoming that you could almost forget you're actually there for the ice cream. And the shop itself: beautifully decorated, so that as soon as you walk in, you think: "I'm going to stick around here." If you don't try ice cream here in Domaso, you're missing out on the dolce vita.

The ice cream is great 👍. 3 scoops for €4. Very tasty. We went there almost every day. The selection is plentiful, with about 20 flavors.

Absolutely delicious gelato! The flavors are rich and creamy, with plenty of variety to choose from. The location is perfect, right on the lakefront, offering beautiful views while you enjoy your treat. The staff is lovely, very friendly and welcoming. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area!

Avevamo voglia di un gelato e ci ha incuriositi l’insegna di questa gelateria che parlava di prodotto artigianale – e di solito questo è sinonimo di qualità. Così ci siamo fermati un sabato verso le 8 di sera. La posizione è davvero bella: la gelateria si affaccia sulla strada principale e da lì in pochi passi ci si può sedere su una panchina con vista lago, che non è affatto male per gustarsi un gelato. Quando siamo arrivati, davanti a noi c’era solo una signora che ci ha detto di essere lì già da un po’, ma che nessuno si era fatto vivo, anche se aveva provato a farsi notare. Dopo un paio di minuti è spuntato un signore da fuori, ha aperto le porte-finestre del locale ed è entrato – senza salutare, né spiegare il ritardo, né tantomeno scusarsi. Insomma, capito che era uno dello staff, ma davvero zero entusiasmo. Quando è toccato a me, ho preso una coppetta media (3 euro) con nocciola e cioccolato. I gusti sono scritti su delle lavagnette dietro al bancone e le coppette hanno il prezzo segnato vicino. Il gelato, per fortuna, era buono: bella consistenza e anche il sapore ci stava. Però ecco… il servizio lascia parecchio a desiderare. Un sorriso o un minimo di attenzione in più non guasterebbero. Peccato, perché il posto ha del potenziale.
