Excellent fish dishes both raw and cooked, the dessert is the least good thing on the menu

Un nostro amico ci ha consigliato la “bourguignonne di pese” ed è stato un ottimo consiglio! Se posso permettermi, più che bourguignonne la definirei chinoise visto che il pesce cuoce nel brodo e non nell’olio ed è per questo che risulta essere molto delicata. Anche il resto delle portate sono state sublimi !

Fish soup evening: fixed price menu €35 excluding drinks, it's a Thursday evening but the place is fully booked. A sign of a loyal clientele. The 1st appetizer Sautéed cuttlefish with peppers and chilli does not satisfy me at the sight, I would have preferred to see the broken chilli pepper than the powdered one but it is tender and we like it, the 2nd appetizer Tuna slice breaded with poppy seeds and vegetable caponata, a sweet surprise, well cooked tuna and tender sweet caponata and goes well with tuna, excellent. The main course amazes us with its quantity, the Fish Soup: mussels, clams, a cuttlefish, two red mullets and a giant gurnard, the soup is fresh and abundant, spectacular. I drank a Valdobbiadene prosecco. Sweet ice cream with a reduction of red fruit (strawberries, cherries) not too sweet and well paired, well done! Modern place, excellent wine list, kind and reliable owner, waiters always present, excellent service. I count €80 for two.

Abbiamo optato per un menù tutto pesce, e ne siamo usciti soddisfatti. Location gradevole e ben curata. Prezzi sopra la media per come vuole presentarsi La Braia, un ristorante raffinato, però per esserlo oltre all’ottimo menù accompagnato con del buon vino, bisogna avere il personale di sala competente e ben informato, cosa sul quale purtroppo pecca un po’.
