La Braia In Carpignano sesia

Fresh fish among the rice fields. We know that our area is not known for fish but in this restaurant it is always very fresh and, if you want, accompanied by good local wine. As an entree they served us a bruschetta with butter and fish with red Vermouth from Turin. I usually get the raw appetizer which has a good selection of molluscs and crustaceans. This time I took the citrus risotto and raw prawns to follow. Cooked well but I would have preferred it more citrusy. As for desserts, it doesn't have a gourmet selection but they are still good and interesting. I chose the pineapple with ginger and chilli, intrigued by the spicy fruit and was pleasantly surprised.

fast service... very good cuisine... I recommend a slice of amberjack... apple dessert!!!! shame the bread isn't fresh!!! but regarding the fish it's really excellent!!!!

Excellent fish. I chose 2 rather particular things, ravioli with scallops, the delicate filling, shame too much sage in the sauce, it covered the taste of the filling, scampi and prawn casserole, nice portion, good fried food, all clean, I didn't know that there are no side dishes and none he explained the menu to us, it's my first time going. Sweet Tartatin unfortunately too sugary. I'll be back to try more.

A pleasant discovery. Fish restaurant with simple, well-made dishes. We chose the tasting menu and were satisfied with it. The wine list is also excellent. For me 5 well-deserved stars.

Ci siamo stati per un pranzo in famiglia, l'accoglienza è stata molto cordiale ed educata, servizio attento ma non invadente. Il locale è accogliente e pulito, il pesce è cucinato in modo semplice ma curato, non ci sono abbinamenti strani ed il gusto della buona materia prima ne risulta valorizzato, le dosi sono consoni al prezzo che nel rapporto con la qualità risulta corretto. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente.

I really ate well... the seafood appetizers were excellent and the fried seafood was delicious.

Excellent restaurant. We only eat fish with small portions of meat, such as stew or Milanese for children. €€€
