Esta es la comida de Messina que es diferente a otros alimentos sicilianos, pero excelente. Algunos de los platos eran un poco como croquetas de carne de res, cerdo, pescado y lo que sea especial esa noche. Incluso las patatas eran diferentes a todo lo que hemos probado, pero también excelente. En un callejón con mucho encanto.

Met by chance, walking through the streets of Ortigia, we stopped for dinner and were very satisfied with their excellent braciolettine messinesi and their caponata, very delicate but super tasty. Highly recommended!!!

A place specialized in "bracciolettine" alla messinese, both meat and fish.
This is the reason why I went there and I was satisfied.
A skewer costs €8. If you take 2 skewers, the cost is €14.
For my tastes they are a simple and good product that is served on dark palettes.
I have attached a couple of photos, respectively with three skewers and with a single skewer
The salads, which I also tasted, are also very good.
The place is located in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Duomo in Syracuse, and precisely in a side street of Via Cavour.
There are tables both inside and outside the place (not many in truth).
Personally I suggest having lunch (or dinner) outside, in the open air..
The service is very courteous

We love meat and we loved this place! Everything was perfect and this, of course, includes the bracciolette (meat rolls on a skewer), which were well prepared, abundant and delicious. They have various options of meat and seasonings for the skewers, including fish ones. The restaurant offers a selection of other local dishes as well, such as pasta or seafood. The seating outside is very pleasant and intimate. The staff was welcoming and very friendly, and we appreciated their menu suggestions. Our order was also served to us quite swiftly. The prices are on the affordable side, especially considering how savory the meat was and how big the portions were. Definitely worth the visit!

What a lovely experience!! Everything cooked on point. Braciolette are amazing and perfectly reflecting their tradition. Then came back to try other plates like different kinds of pastas and a few daily things they didnt have in the menu.
Dont miss this if you go to Ortigia.

We went to try the skewers. We ordered the meat Braciolettine della Nonna if they were good, no Wow, different, with cheese. One was enough for me. They are small but because of the cheese, they fill you up. We ordered bobbia Siracusana and it is a small plate of potatoes with paprika, nothing special. We ordered it as an appetizer and it is more of an accompaniment. They didn't have much of a variety of wine. I wanted a sparkling wine and they only had processo. Too dry for my taste. We also ordered a mixed salad. But it was lettuce and tomato. It lacks more variety of vegetables.

Local place, not very touristy, the manager is attentive, helpful, friendly and welcoming!
The food was EXCELLENT! The cutlets are delicious, one better than the other! The incredible caponata! The standard pasta is delicious!

Dopo aver cercato per i vari locali che offre Ortigia ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante, affidandoci alla simpatia del personale che era fuori. Siamo rimasti sorpresi piacevolmente dagli ottimi primi e dagli involtini alla messinese che erano delicatissimi. Servizio attento e curato. Lo raccomando
