A good restaurant for returning from a typical day of skiing. The atmosphere and Valtellina dishes are plentiful here. The service isn't perfect, but we're not in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's a bit basic, but the dishes are truly tasty, and I'm referring in particular to the pizzoccheri. The atmosphere is a bit dated and dark, but it's pleasant. There's ample parking and a location right on the only road in the area. Also worth stopping by for the well-stocked shop opposite, with prices lower than those in supermarkets.

You sleep well and eat very well. Connected to the Valtellina trail where you can run freely for many kilometers without cars. Very friendly staff.

Rifugio La Casermetta-Colmen

05/08/2025: Very beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing. Decorated with various handmade wooden animal figurines, the retreat is truly unique.
21/06/2025: Splendid view, peace and serenity that you can find refuge. After 4 years I returned, on a day not sunny but I was lucky enough to find the refuge open, family-run with which I immediately entered into harmony. Rustic environment and exceptional welcome, warmth and empathy received from the owner and the guests found there. Certainly not a place sought after for comfort but exceptional for anyone who wants to have an experience outside the box. Genuine and excellent quality food. You can get there on foot starting from Dazio, with a 30/45 minute walk with medium-demanding sections. For me it fully deserves 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but we especially appreciate the owners' friendliness and helpfulness. Recommended for those seeking a relaxing stay, a family vacation immersed in nature, and also for those who love hiking, as it's a great starting point for many walks.
