La Botticella In Castiglione in teverina

Very homely pizzeria restaurant run by a family from Castiglione. It is possible to eat good, light and tasty giant pizzas. I assume that the kitchen offerings are also of excellent quality seeing the dishes at the other tables without leaving out the desserts. The owners are very nice and lively, dining in this place is always a celebration. If you are passing through, I recommend visiting it to really have a good evening.

Gigantic thin, well-cooked pizzas, amazing desserts but the rest is also not bad enough to come back to try the platters and those wonderful Florentine steaks that we saw passing by and then spectacular desserts with exaggerated portions. We spent very little compared to the average restaurant but the thing we liked most was the welcoming and super brilliant young staff who are carrying on with excellent skills a business which they tell us has been open for about 30 years. Come here you won't be disappointed...we will be back!

Informal and welcoming restaurant where the pizzas are gigantic and protrude from the plate by at least 15 cm on each side. Thin and well seasoned, I recommend going on an empty stomach, otherwise it is impossible to finish them. Advised

I was there a few evenings ago, simple but very welcoming atmosphere. Attentive and courteous staff, quick service. Excellent choice for both starters and first and second courses and the pizzas are huge and delicious. Good prices. Definitely coming back.

Wow. Wanted to try this restaurant for a few times, but never got to it, now I wish we'd tried sooner! Ordered tagliere which came with an entire foccacia and after the delishious pasta as primi we almost could nog finish our soft tender Tagliata and cotelleta Milanese with great baked potatoes. As we dined huge pizza's passed by so we came back 2 days later for the pizza. Again....buonissima. Only sad thing was we could not finish them, simply too large. And now we have pizza again tomorrow :-) we definitely come back!
