And what can I say... a step back in time, a warm but not intrusive welcome, a unique location, and... mind-blowing food and super portions.
The pici all'aglione are amazing, the cured meats with crostini are out of this world.
And if you want coffee, they bring you a moka pot, not coffee made with pods.
And you'll definitely return to Massimo.
Please, if you can't appreciate the shop/food/hospitality... move on and avoid writing "failed posh" reviews!

I stumbled upon it by chance during a business trip. The place feels like home. Don't expect Michelin-starred food; it's like your mother would make it—delicious. The tripe is unbelievable.
Outstanding food and super friendly, down-to-earth staff.
If I ever come back to Arezzo, I'll definitely pop in. 🤎

Mitika Tuscan osteria with traditional meat dishes, very casual but high quality! We'll definitely be back! They were very kind, even to me, even though I'm a vegetarian. I had a wonderful cacio e pepe and bruschetta appetizer!

Magical! Massimo welcomed us like friends. The food was top-quality and the atmosphere was festive, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Believe me, we'll be back! Homemade limoncello was on us before we hit the road again.

A beautiful place to eat typical Tuscan dishes.
It's not modern in style, but it has everything you need. If you go to Rebecca, you go for the hospitality and the homemade dishes.
It's like having a second home.

Best life experience. It was certainly the best experience we had in Italy.
Don't expect luxury, expect flavor.
Don't expect perfect service, expect an Italian to serve you (by the way, he's amazing. It might even sound like a play, but it's real; he's a fierce Italian).
Don't expect a menu, speak Italian, or order cacio pepe, lol.
It was simply fantastic and certainly one of the places I'll carry in my heart forever.
