EXCEPTIONAL! I really don't understand how anyone can give a negative review to this place and their tielle. We stopped out of curiosity to try this local specialty and I must say that we would have eaten the whole counter! We tasted the tiella with escarole and olives and the one with onion. Both highly recommended, a real delight! Come here and you won't be disappointed!!!

Excellent tielle of various flavours, but also sandwiches and salads. Very nice place with outdoor tables in one of the nicest squares in Medieval Gaeta. Cheap prices

Let me start by saying that I am a great fan of Tiella but this one I ate should change its name. Found a place on Maps to try Tiella in Gaeta and I was deeply disappointed! The only positive thing is the location of the place!

In my opinion it is better than a 100 star restaurant. You feel like you're among friends, you eat a typical dish without many frills, spending very little and with impeccable service. The owner is a humble person who you can talk to and who only wants to give his best and receive understanding and gratitude. In my opinion you couldn't wish for more. It is located near the port. The place is tiny, typically takeaway except that it has a few tables in front of the exit. The tielle seasonings are traditional. With octopus, escarole, onions etc. The octopus tiella I found was excellent. Tasty, rich in seasoning and with a light and not thick pasta covering. The price for a whole 600g tiella, good for two people, is €15. Maybe a little expensive. Otherwise there is a 160g gluttony portion for €3.50. The service good and fast.

Today I discovered the Gaeta tiella. With us the tiella is something else 😅 so it was nice to make this discovery! As well as being beautiful I must also say good! My husband and I liked them (we tried several). My son really enjoyed the sandwich instead! Stunning location with sea view.

31/07/2024: Locale accogliente con una terrazza deliziosa. Abbiamo provato il pesce e devo dire siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Era una giornata di pienone quindi il servizio ha annaspato un pò. Abbiamo optato x 4 antipasti di mare. 2 risotti alla marinara e 6 Tonnarelli alla focaccia. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un pò...troppo. Però ne è valsa la pena.
25/06/2024: Perfetto per una serata informale, ristorante di pesce ma anche pizzeria, ottimo il sautee di vongole e telline ed i fritti. ci torniamo sempre con piacere. costi contenuti
