Really a very nice place very good

Great place. Good menu. Local cuisine. They have wine that you pour yourselves from a tap in the wall. That was original. Seemed popular with locals and tourists alike, always a good sign. We had the cheese/meat starter platter it was really nice. Def did not need two as was advised - glad we took one cause then we had room for the lovely pasta dish and dessert.

Family restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere

We went to Botte Pazza one evening in August, on the recommendation of a shopkeeper from Salerno. We had a great time, the staff were very friendly, and the food was truly delicious.

I went there last night with friends, there were four of us, it was recommended to us by a shop assistant, we had a great time and also we ate very well! The wine (excellent) is on the house, the manager and waitresses are very friendly and very professional!!!! Too bad that for us Modenese it's far, but if I ever come back to Salerno we will definitely go back!!!! Ohhh I forgot quantity/quality rating 10 with honors!

We stumbled upon La Botte Pazza on our first night in town and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. We arrived a bit late but were seated in the upper loft area, which felt almost like a private skybox overlooking the restaurant below—such a unique and cozy vibe. Our waiter was wonderfully caring and attentive. One of the things I loved most was that the menu changes daily depending on what’s fresh and available, which makes every visit feel special. On top of that, they went out of their way to accommodate a vegetarian in our group, bringing out multiple dishes crafted just for her. It didn’t feel like a burden to them at all—in fact, it felt like they took pride in creating something unique. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service outstanding. I left feeling cared for rather than like “just another customer,” which is rare these days. Highly recommend—10/10—and I’ll absolutely return on my next trip to Italy.

We came to eat here bc our b&b host recommended it. It had high reviews so we were very excited. We waited 20 minutes for the menu to arrive. We then ordered. The starters came, but after all the dishes were taken back, we waited an hour for the main course to arrive. It was like we were forgotten. I get that in Italy things are a bit layed back, but this was not it. Honestly it ruined the vibe. We still asked for desert since it was already made. Adding to the bad service, the food was okay.

Free wine and water. Very fair prices and great staff.
