Dall’ingresso alla tavola, tutto è stato perfetto. Locale pulito e accogliente. La cucina è un vero omaggio ai sapori del territorio: prodotti tipici, freschissimi e piatti deliziosi. Il personale è gentile e attento, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!

We returned to Lake Ampollino in Sila after four years. We were surprised to find several pleasant businesses open, and many tourists, which doesn't detract from such a beautiful and enjoyable area to visit. We enjoyed the delicacies of the region, particularly Sila, at Bar La Botte, which we hope will grow, even if there are long lines to get in in the future. Delicious, well-prepared food: we chose the set menu of veal morsels, Sila potatoes, mixed roast pork, and pappadelle with wild boar ragù. The staff were welcoming and relaxed; it was a pleasure to sit down and enjoy their dishes. Definitely a must-visit; we'd be back!

01/11/2025: What a great discovery! Small but very well-kept place, the perfect atmosphere we were looking for last night. Good food, beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, everything not fancy/pretentious. Food: We started with a DELICIOUS tartare, homemade bread. It continued even better with an incredible cuttlefish with Jerusalem artichokes and gnocchi with caciocavallo fondue and anchovies. We decided to try another dish, the leek with potatoes and porcini mushrooms, which was good (but the others were out of this world). Good wines, the lady even told us about the vineyards of my small Greco di Tufo winery. Cost: €62 for two. We thought the bill was wrong 😅 we expected a higher price overall. Small minus: a bit of a wait for the dishes, but all in all, it's fine given the pleasantness of the place and the overall situation. Well done!
13/10/2025: We made a reservation, and when our flight was delayed, it wasn't a problem. We just had to let them know. We had a delicious meal and were advised on the wine. It all worked out perfectly. Pleasant atmosphere and a helpful team. And on a Saturday evening, you're in a quiet neighborhood, easily reached by car.

Con Gusto

24/12/2025: The Metropolis Shopping Center in Rende (Cosenza) is a definite hit, as always. Whatever you're looking for, it's there. The mall is huge, beautiful, modern, and also very clean (with restrooms) and meticulously maintained. It truly has everything, from shops of all kinds (clothing, electronics, bars, etc.) to fast food outlets. It's also suitable for children (thanks to its attractions and games), and there's even underground parking. The location is also excellent, accessible by bus, with several stops nearby. It's the best shopping center in Calabria and the South. The outdoor plaza is huge, with fountains, a playground, and the nearby Museum of the Present. Truly a favorite with everyone. Concerts, Christmas markets, and events also take place in the outdoor plaza.
