For over 30 years, La Bizantina has been a true guarantee in Rossano. Traditional dishes prepared with care, quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and generous portions. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the service attentive, and the atmosphere welcoming and familiar. Excellent value, too. A must-visit place where you can eat well and feel at home. A well-deserved five stars!

A historic restaurant in Rossano's historic center. Located in a beautiful part of the village, near the Church of San Marco. The service is fast and the food is excellent. Traditional dishes and excellent pizza. Parking is a bit limited, but it's worth a stop.

The appetizer itself is a complete meal. Seven delicious Calabrian specialties are available for €14. Rosé di Cirò is €12, and Pizzo gelato drowned in Byzantine bitters is €3.50. Pair it with a stroll among the Byzantine churches. It's worth it.

Excellent! If you're looking for a place to eat traditional Rossano cuisine, you've found it. Everything was excellent, especially the appetizer, which I highly recommend. The location is beautiful, in one of Rossano's historic squares. The staff is friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

18/07/2026: First time there. The owner (who is also the chef) is kind, smiling, and warm. Camilla, a young waitress, is very nice and polite, probably shy and excited, but kind. The place is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery; the only drawback is that there's no parking nearby. The dishes are homemade and very good. They also sell a flavored organic olive oil that I really liked.
03/07/2026: We ate the excellent local cured meats and the famous prosciutto. Grilled cheese wrapped in pancetta, eggplant meatballs, accompanied by grilled zucchini and excellent lightly smoked ricotta. Everything was truly exceptional!! Homemade tagliatelle with cod, superb! As for the homemade desserts, made to order: ricotta-filled pastries with cinnamon and lemon, and the crescent with dark chocolate and orange, truly superb. Ciro's white wine. Just rereading it makes my mouth water. Thanks to Giacomo the chef and the very sweet Camilla who served us impeccably.

07/05/2026: Amazing views, very polite and friendly family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble, nice clean rooms, great breakfast, on site bodega. They ran a free shuttle to a local restaurant with local music and owned and run by the same family, lovely evening out. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a heartfelt celebration; the organization was impeccable in every way. The cuisine deserves special mention: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and a perfect balance between flavor and presentation. Every course was appreciated by all the guests, a decisive factor in the success of the event. It's rare to find a venue capable of maintaining the same level of excellence over time: here, quality is a testament. A reference point for memorable occasions, which I recommend without hesitation.
