I went to this place with my wife during a holiday and we had dinner there practically every evening of our stay (from 12th to 21st July).
Located in a splendid beachfront location, the "La Bitta" restaurant is the ideal place for lovers of fresh fish and refined cuisine. The sea view offers a relaxing and enchanting atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends.
The culinary experience (because it is a real experience we are talking about) begins, for us, with an appetizer of raw purple San Remo prawns. The freshness and quality of the fish are immediately evident, with the prawns melting in your mouth, offering a delicate and natural flavor of the sea.
The double-cooked octopus with wasabi mayonnaise is another delight not to be missed. The double cooking makes the octopus tender on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, while the wasabi mayonnaise adds a spicy and sophisticated note that balances the dish perfectly.
The first courses are a true celebration of homemade pasta. The lobster tagliolini are rich and creamy, with the lobster giving a sweet and delicate flavor to the dish. The amberjack and swordfish ravioli are an explosion of flavors, with a tasty and well-balanced filling.
Tagliolini allo scoglio are a tribute to the Italian culinary tradition, with very fresh seafood that enrich the pasta with their intense flavour.
For the second courses, the swordfish fillet with sliced potatoes is cooked to perfection, keeping the meat juicy and tender. The sliced potatoes add a crunchy and tasty component that completes the dish.
Grilled amberjack is another strong dish, with the amberjack being grilled to bring out its natural flavour, accompanied by fresh and delicious side dishes.
Desserts are the perfect conclusion to this culinary experience. The chocolate cut with peach reduction, blueberry and cardamom is a refined and rich dessert, with the combination of chocolate and fruit creating a perfect balance between sweet and sour.
The basil dessert with a glass of dark chocolate and basil liqueur is a unique experience, with the basil adding a surprising freshness to the dark chocolate, making this dessert unforgettable.
The "La Bitta" restaurant is a beachfront gem that offers fish dishes of the highest quality, prepared with skill and passion. Each course is a journey through the flavors of the sea, impeccably presented and served in an environment that enhances the natural beauty of the coast.
Naturally, in addition to the à la carte menu (with local fish always very fresh) they offer off-menu (catch of the day) which really deserves to be savoured.
Chef Roland and his wonderful family, wife and son, deserve a special mention, as they will make you feel really good with their friendliness and helpfulness!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a memorable dining experience.
Prices absolutely in line and consistent with the quality and workmanship of the raw materials and the service offered.

Beautiful place, I was there on Friday evening there were 4 of us, very kind staff who also combined 2 tables to make a very comfortable table for 4 because we also have a dog! I recommend this place if you go on holiday to Laigueglia!

Nice place, good food.
The only small complaint is that the price is a little high considering the portions, but all in all I think it is in line with the other places in the area.
But the service was very quick and efficient.

A must-see in Laigueglia, this restaurant is worth the detour.
The dishes are fine and refined, the ingredients delicious and the cuisine is very careful.
The sirloin is very tender. The swordfish gnocchi reminded me of the flavors of my childhood.
The team in the room is very friendly.

I leave you the surprise that will be extremely pleasant, ... And also romantic.
Just a suggestion, the swordfish is local to the Ligurian sea selected by the chef who buys it whole 😉
Everything else is excellent and special, even the dessert

Simply fabulous restaurant, we were welcomed by the owner and her son as if we were family.
Impeccable service from a starred restaurant and obviously the main thing is the goodness of the dishes. An excellent mussel soup, intense flavor and very fresh fish but the second course... a mixed fried dish so good that I don't remember having eaten a better one.
Ecco la bitta is the restaurant where you can eat well and feel pampered, take a tour and you won't regret it!
