Today in our sweet wandering, we came across a typical Viareggina trattoria 2 steps from the pier, where smile, kindness and above all good food are their business card. Even though the place was packed (with good reason), the girl still let us sit. He brings us the menu telling us not to look at the à la carte prices, because the formula they adopt on weekends is a fixed price of 22 euros per person including water, wine and coffee for a total of 2 courses with a choice of starters, first and second. 1 hot seafood appetizer + 1 mixed fry my wife, 1 scallop ravioli with burrata, fresh tomato and pine nuts + 1 mixed fry We conclude with 2 desserts, water, still white wine and 2 coffees for a total of 44 euros plus the 2 desserts If you happen to be in Viareggio, and you are a lover of genuine cuisine and above all you want to eat fried food that melts in your mouth and above all made with fresh fish, stop at Trattoria la Bitta in via Regia 82 in Viareggio I guarantee ❤️

Apart from the environment which being on the Via Regia is not the best, I had a good time. Strictly fresh fish. Super friendly waitress, nice and ready to give excellent advice... She is the owner's mother... The family management gives the environment that informal atmosphere that you can't help but appreciate. Good house wine. I recommend the seafood grill because it is amazing.

For about 3 years we have occasionally stopped for dinner, always at the top, unfortunately disappointed yesterday, apart from the cold, I want to believe it is a coincidence, I don't know in the meantime the chef or the ownership has changed, but we won't go back

Simple restaurant in Viareggio, excellent and high quality food. Friendly service, not very fast. Truly excellent trio of starters, with exceptional marinated tuna. Excellent ravioli with squid ink and equally excellent grilled seafood. Very good decomposed cannoli. Fair price, lower than the average of other restaurants in the area. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended. Better to book, the restaurant was full!

Nice place discovered thanks to friends: Very good lunch and menu formulas that allow you to optimize spending!..., in short, quality, friendliness and savings, it really works! We were there on a Saturday for lunch and we tasted various dishes and they were all quite refined and pleasant, the first courses were excellent, particularly the maltagliati and the squid ink ravioli with scallops! Simple but truly excellent mixed grill with four types of fish all cooked perfectly and well flavoured! I was a little less enthusiastic about the seafood appetizer, simpler, better, but perhaps lacking a bit of flavour! Overall I must say that it was an excellent lunch, with a rather low cost, in fact on Saturdays there are these menu combinations that allow you to eat first and second course and side dish for 22 euros or by adding the starter for €27. All in all, quite interesting and I'll definitely come back when I have the chance to return to Viareggio!

Sono stato diverse volte a mangiare in questa trattoria le due ragazze che servono sono brave e gentili il locale è la classica trattoria di una volta il cibo veramente ottimo il rapporto cibo prezzo eccezionale merita veramente andarci bravi continuate così

Tutto buono e abbondante, inoltre menù fisso da scegliere fra 4 primi e 4 secondi a 12 euro compreso il caffè . Servizio ottimo. Consiglio vivamente . Se poi uno cerca piatti innovativi e prelibati e magari anche qualche stella , non è certo questo il posto, ed il prezzo

30/11/2024: Super delicious sea food, high quality and affordable. This place is a true gastronomical experience, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is familiar. Definitely recommended if you want to relax and not break the bank!
17/11/2024: We booked by chance, often passing by, we became curious and managed to find mail for Saturday dinner. Very nice staff, already at the booking stage, even though it was the venue, they asked us to leave our phone number so they could call us back in case of any cancellation...And so it was. The well-furnished, welcoming and spacious room with a room on the lower floor... Excellent equipment and very interesting menus. We took the appetizers, a crudite and a hot seafood...a spaghetti with clams and burrata...as a second course with the fish soup... All dishes are well presented and well made. Quality raw material. The service is punctual and professional. The coffee is good and the idea of ​​bringing peanuts at the end of the dinner is intriguing... In my opinion, the "fish soup" dish should be revised as the presence of tomato is too strong and covers the flavor and taste of the fish... for the which I expected to taste like cacciucco. A very interesting restaurant. We will be back soon. A small problem is the parking... in front of the street with difficulty to find it. However, on the side road almost at the end it is possible to find parking spaces in the countryside.

02/12/2024: Pici allo scoglio served in a black pan FABULOUS! Also try the tuna steak with chopped pistachios and the spaghetti with clams. 💖 Kind and friendly staff, large room where you can eat both on the ground floor and on the first floor, and in the summer a beautiful garden with lake view, playground and outdoor square with lots of tables and smoking area. Next time we come back I'll try the pizza. 😋
