Maybe there isn't much choice of dishes but those that are there should be tasted because it's really worth it.

Few appetizers, a few first courses, a few second courses and 3 desserts to choose from: but it's better this way because each of those dishes is exquisite, well thought out and made with such professionalism. The raw materials, the cooking but also the flavors are absolutely perfect. From a look at the menu I had the feeling that the chef knew what he was doing and I put him to the test by choosing a type of dish that I normally don't choose because it's easy to make mistakes: I was right to trust, wow taste! The second courses were also spectacular and the "fritturina" also surprised with perfect breading and unbeatable softness. Menu worthy of many other prices because having spent only 49 euros for 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 1 dessert, wine, water and coffee is incredible given the quality. The service was also up to par, courteous and fast. Highly recommended+++

Located in the center of Viareggio (near the port), the place is bare but is in the process of being renovated from what we understand. The food is very good, fresh products cooked very well, the owner is nice and kind, prices are very low in relation to the quality and quantity. Very recommended.

Even though the place was packed (with good reason), the girl still let us sit. He brings us the menu telling us not to look at the à la carte prices, because the formula they adopt on weekends is a fixed price of 22 euros per person including water, wine and coffee for a total of 2 courses with a choice of starters, first and second. 1 hot seafood appetizer + 1 mixed fry my wife, 1 scallop ravioli with burrata, fresh tomato and pine nuts + 1 mixed fry We conclude with 2 desserts, water, still white wine and 2 coffees for a total of 44 euros plus the 2 desserts If you happen to be in Viareggio, and you are a lover of genuine cuisine and above all you want to eat fried food that melts in your mouth and above all made with fresh fish, stop at Trattoria la Bitta in via Regia 82 in Viareggio I guarantee ❤️

Apart from the environment which being on the Via Regia is not the best, I had a good time. Strictly fresh fish. Super friendly waitress, nice and ready to give excellent advice... She is the owner's mother... The family management gives the environment that informal atmosphere that you can't help but appreciate. Good house wine. I recommend the seafood grill because it is amazing.

Medium; if you have company and don't have too many demands, eat well (especially first courses) and pay the right amount

For about 3 years we have occasionally stopped for dinner, always at the top, unfortunately disappointed yesterday, apart from the cold, I want to believe it is a coincidence, I don't know in the meantime the chef or the ownership has changed, but we won't go back

Simple restaurant in Viareggio, excellent and high quality food. Friendly service, not very fast. Truly excellent trio of starters, with exceptional marinated tuna. Excellent ravioli with squid ink and equally excellent grilled seafood. Very good decomposed cannoli. Fair price, lower than the average of other restaurants in the area. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended. Better to book, the restaurant was full!
