Excellent steak, very tender and flavorful, very rare and cold in the center but easily recooked thanks to the fact that it was served on a really hot stone. Excellent side dishes, especially beans and potatoes, vegetables a little greasy but very tasty. Price in line.

The atmosphere is casual and very friendly. The menu is unique and excellent! A kilo of meat per person, mashed potatoes, and a side dish. I've never eaten such good meat.

We sat down at the table (there were eight of us); the waitress didn't ask us anything except "Do I make it for eight?", not even a single question about how we wanted our meat. This may sound like a negative review, but it was exactly what I expected and wanted. The meat arrived perfectly cooked, along with a generous selection of side dishes, served on a hot griddle so that those who liked it more cooked could leave it a few seconds longer. One of the best Florentine steaks I've ever eaten, and certainly the best value. We'll definitely be back.

The meat was delicious, and I'd go back just for that, but I've never seen a restaurant without a menu where you can see what you're eating and how much you're spending. There's no paper menu for wine either, but I had to get up to go inside and choose...

30/10/2025: We ate here on October 21,2025 and after 2 weeks in La Spezia and several days in Florence this was our most memorable meal! The wonderful nuances of the flavors were a treat to the palette. We had the most flavorful beef carpaccio we have ever had as a first course. Our pasta dishes were amazing like the spaghetti with garlic oil , chilli pepper, shrimp and barrata. The stuffed parpadelle was amazing in taste and preparation! The beef fillet with that divine sauce was so tasty! I am dreaming of the Pistachio semifreddo dessert with lavender sauce which was, not only delicious but presented on the most beautiful platter! If in the area I would not miss this experience!

25/11/2025: Gelateria Corniglia is tucked away behind a pretty non-descript little portal—easy to miss unless you’re looking for it, even though there is some signage. You head downstairs and suddenly land on a surprisingly nice patio where you can sit and enjoy your gelato or whatever frozen treat you’re in the mood for. The gelato itself is solid and the setting is great for taking a break from wandering the town. Service was… fine. Civil, but not exactly warm or welcoming. Still, it’s a good stop if you want a quiet spot to cool off and relax for a few minutes.
16/10/2025: The BEST ice cream around! - Especially the slush and lemon ice cream! Two super nice ladies who served us were friendly, cheerful, and simply amazing!! We've been there twice now, the last time being 4 years ago (man with a hat). Thank you and highly recommended!
