Small village restaurant. Good food and friendly, helpful staff. The only flaw is that if you ask for an invoice it is still in paper form and not electronic, not a big problem but it could create a queue at the checkout. In general I recommend it

I must admit that I have never seen a trattoria like this... first of all kindness reigns supreme and the quality and abundance of the food make the lunch very, very satisfying at a very modest cost... without wine but with a large pot of pasta and beans while I had a plate of fusilli and a second course with a breaded steak of considerable proportions with a mixed buffet side dish and an excellent sweet bunet and a tasty coffee €15.00

In short, corporate diner level, but I wouldn't say typically Piedmontese cuisine. Then there's little olive oil that comes in sachets. Quality / price quite good.

Typical Piedmontese trattoria, with traditional dishes. Clean and informal environment.
Good value for money. Welcoming, friendly and helpful dining room staff.
If I can give some advice, I would include dishes for a vegetarian choice (it should be underlined that even though there were none, the kitchen tried to make up for it).

Lunch characterized by well-cooked typical dishes, with quality ingredients and generous portions. Courteous and punctual service. A bit retro but tidy and clean. Compliments to all the staff but, above all, to the expert hands of the chef.

An environment that can be described as: "informal, welcoming, like going to lunch at your aunt's"
And the flavors that are offered are those of the Piedmontese and ... local tradition..
A couple of examples: vitello tonnato... agnolotti with ragù... roast cooked slowly to enhance the meat... mushrooms and chestnuts in season. (We are among centuries-old chestnut woods, those of Villar Focchiardo where "the extraordinary chestnuts" are harvested
(Which will transform into precious brown glaces)
The staff is more than kind and helpful and goes out of their way to satisfy diners' requests.
I have been frequenting this restaurant for at least 20 years. Am I biased? No..."I'm at home" ❤️

A simple, welcoming trattoria and a true Piedmontese bagna cauda! Location located at the foot of Rocciamelone among the beautiful Val Susa! Highly recommended
