Three stars at most… The saving grace was the tasty candles. Maybe it was a less fortunate day for the restaurant, but this was my experience, and it left much to be desired. From the appetizers to the flavorless dishes, small portions, and I didn't even choose the wine… really disappointing compared to other alternatives.

The best restaurant we tried in Pompeii during our vacation between April 21 and 26, 2025. We liked it so much the first night we went, April 24 (on the advice of our guide in Pompeii), that we returned the following night, April 25, to celebrate the end of our vacation in this beautiful town in style! The restaurant offers a menu that combines tradition (in terms of recipes and raw materials) with a careful knowledge of the flavors and products of the area, including both delicious 'land' and 'sea' dishes on the menu. Everything we tasted, from appetizers to desserts, fully satisfied our expectations and our palate. Pampering at the beginning and end of the meal. Wine list of certain interest. Choice of bitters decidedly above average. Punctual, precise and discreet service, while always making us feel at ease and pleasantly welcomed. Special mention to the kindness of all the staff and, furthermore, to the boy at the cashier (sorry for not remembering the name) for the kindness shown towards our son Pietro. When we return to Pompeii, we will definitely return!

After visiting the excavation, we stopped in for a small snack. The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. Thank you very much, and we'll be happy to come back.
