I recently went to this restaurant (I didn't stay overnight, so the review is only for lunch!). The place appears clean, with many waiters available.
As for food, ups and downs.
- Amuse bouche: please avoid. As a lover of all-round cuisine (from the country trattoria to the starred one), it is better to leave these off-menu dishes to top restaurants. Why not, a slice of cured meat with a small piece of giardiniera cannot be considered an amuse-bouche. Maybe, sometimes nothing is better than little...
- Trio of hot appetizers: crunchy sweetbreads and really good capunet (perhaps it was the best capunet I have ever eaten), the snails which tasted of little were truly disappointing.
- Panissa: I understand that they put cheese in it, which is strictly forbidden in the Vercelli tradition. For those who are not fundamentalists it is still recommended, good.
- Bread and focaccia: dangerous, especially focaccia. In the sense that it is excellent, and you risk eating tons of it.
In conclusion I can say that no, I wasn't bad eating here. But I wouldn't go back.

Personale cordiale ed efficiente per un locale dove si rinnova ogni volta il gusto della tradizione. Ogni volta i preparati lasciano soddisfatto il palato del cliente che può gustare i piatti della tradizione. Buonissimo il risotto e il bunet ma anche l'antipasto con peperoni e acciughe. Davvero ottimo

Overall 5 because the service and the restaurant are really top. If you want to eat really well, La Bettola is the right place. The rooms are quite spartan but carefully cleaned, equipped with bathroom kit, flat screen television and very comfortable beds.
3 stars for the location because you are in an area where there isn't much to see. But it is very convenient if you need to reach the Stellantis slope in Balocco.

Delicious dishes, dishes that taste like nothing.
Very strange.
Fondue and cheese risotto that don't take off, they lack the hint of flavor that a good cheese can give.
Stringy, tasteless, bad and poorly cooked Argentinian cube roll.
Wonderful ossobuco and Milanese risotto, as well as the stellar chicken cutlet and the heartwarming baked potatoes.
Bagna cauda and fried brains are also excellent.
Nice wine list.

A nice restaurant where you can eat typical Piedmontese cuisine while also including recipes from other regions while maintaining quality. Friendly, attentive and prepared staff. Definitely an excellent value for money. Must try
