La Bettola In Carisio

Excellent restaurant Very good Piedmontese cuisine, knowledgeable and friendly staff

I stayed at La Bettola for just one night. The room wasn't recently decorated, but it was clean, warm, and tidy. My only complaint was the soundproofing. AWFUL. It felt like I was sleeping on the A4 highway...the noise from the cars was incredibly loud and incessant all night.

Family atmosphere, linear and clean rooms, excellent cuisine.

Good restaurant, excellent risotto

La Bettola di Carisio is a true institution and a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Piedmontese cuisine. Famous for its panissa, it offers meticulously crafted dishes, prepared with the highest-quality ingredients that are evident at first bite. Every time we pass by Carisio, stopping here is an essential ritual: an absolute must that never disappoints. I love their bread basket and warm focaccia. This time we enjoyed an excellent mixed antipasto, followed by a simply delicious breaded cutlet, golden brown and accompanied by a very interesting lime mayonnaise and vegetables, and an amazing fillet, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. A special shout-out also goes to the seasonal truffle menu, a real treat for truffle enthusiasts. Dessert was a must: I chose a white truffle gelato, which I adore, and I can say without hesitation that it was extraordinary, elegant, intense, and perfectly balanced. A memorable finale. The restaurant is meticulously maintained and impeccably clean, and the service is truly top-notch: professional, attentive, and always smiling. The wine cellar is also excellent, extensive and well-selected. A restaurant that always wins you over, and one I highly recommend.
