The classic tavern of the past. So, sandwich with mortedea, an ombra de raboso, and lots of cicchetti. Alessandro, son of the legendary Giancarlo, is friendly and kind.

Paradiso Perduto

14/12/2025: The dishes were cooked according to tradition. Unfortunately, I happened to be there on a very busy evening, which affected the service. With too many guests, the space felt too small, but I admit this is a matter of taste. I don't like crowded places. However, it's a place worth at least a visit for its excellent cuisine. Bravo, chef.
14/12/2025: Cool vibe and friendly staff. Felt authentic especially with the menu in Italian and no other languages. However because of this (and no phone signal to translate the menu) I ordered a dish which was not to my taste. However my husbands food was tasty and we enjoyed the dessert and drinks a lot. The most expensive meal we have had in Venice but we appreciated the atmosphere.

22/10/2025: It's difficult to give a definitive assessment because some dishes are exceptional, like the sardines in saor and the seafood risotto; others are average, like the fried scampi; and others are incredibly on the menu, like the Campari trifle, which are truly inedible. And it's not a matter of taste; the acidity and bitterness of the Campari clash with the sweetness of the custard and chocolate. That's why the end of the meal left me speechless...
16/09/2025: The glories of bygone days. The place hasn't updated itself and isn't up to date. The food isn't great, nor is the service; plenty of parking.
