We had a fantastic dinner at Trattoria La Battigia! The gnocchi con porcini e gamberi was full of flavours — soft, homemade gnocchi with mushrooms and perfectly cooked shrimps. The Tartufo nero was a real highlight — rich and aromatic without being too much. Friendly staff and a relaxed, local feel. Would definitely come back!

I have to say that I have eaten the best spaghetti alle cozze to date. The dishes are high quality compared to the price. The environment is very comfortable and welcoming.

Delicious fish and pasta. The waitress was a bit stressed and made me continue eating on a broken glass. The chef did a really excellent job. I can only praise the taste.

Very rarely in my life have I eaten delicious and abundant fried food, here is one of those. We opted for take-away for family reasons, 3 extraordinary mixed fried food and 2 portions of gnocchi (homemade!!! a rare thing nowadays) with scampi and porcini mushrooms, a delight! I compliment all the staff and the artist, the chef, a nice, honest and sincere person. Since I am from Lido, my only regret is not having come earlier. See you next time and thank you. 😊

Beautiful discovery! Recommended by the locals, what can I say beautiful discovery, the artichoke and scampi gnocchi are something exquisite. Well done, we will return at the first opportunity! P.S. it's a shame I can't give more than 5 stars

Food was very good but the attitude of the lady that served us was terrible. It doesn’t hurt to be welcoming and give a smile.
Feel it was probably because we were English as the locals were treated differently 🙂

The best restaurant in Lido !!! We were there two times, and all the dishes were brilliant. We tried gnocchi with mushrooms, gnocchi with carciofi, and fritti di mare in all kinds. Everything was fresh and made with Italian taste. I can say it was the best food we ate in Italy. Highly recommend. Tiramisu was fine, but not excellent :) it is also important to look around and find "oggi" specials, which were not recommended during ordering food - we just saw it and asked about daily specials. Wonderful!!!!

La Battigia è uno di quei ristoranti che ti restano nel cuore. Gestito con passione da Luca, originario di San Pietro in Volta, isola di pescatori, qui si mangia il pesce più fresco e più buono del mondo. Ogni piatto racconta la tradizione, la semplicità e la qualità del mare. L’ambiente è accogliente e genuino, proprio come chi lo gestisce. Se cercate un’esperienza autentica a Venezia, La Battigia è una tappa obbligata.
