La Bastia In Nogarole rocca

We discovered this restaurant by chance 10 years ago and have been back again recently. The food is excellent, and the clientele is mostly local. The prices are therefore very reasonable. If you share a pasta dish with several people, it will be served in a large pan right at your table—a popular treat, and something truly special. There's plenty of free parking right in front of the restaurant. Children can play in the garden.

It is a hidden gem in the countryside. I would keep it a secret not to find it overcrowded one day but it would be unjust to the owners. The portions are super generous, the quality of food is unbelievable, the bill extremely reasonable.

We ate fish starters and first courses, everything was good, not extraordinary but good and plentiful, honest prices.

Spaghetti allo scoglio, not to be missed if you stop by!

We had a wonderful dining experience at La Bastia, a charming restaurant near the Casele Roca di Nogarole. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful setting that made our evening truly enjoyable. The absolute highlight of the meal was the seafood pasta – without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, with generous portions of seafood cooked to perfection. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in their craft. While the desserts didn’t quite reach the same level as the main course — they were decent but not outstanding — the overall quality of the food more than made up for it. Everything from the starters to the service was excellent, and the attention to detail really stood out. If you’re in the area, La Bastia is a must-visit for authentic Italian cuisine, especially if you’re a seafood lover. We will definitely return!
