The restaurant is centrally located on a characteristic street in the historic center, and being pedestrianized allows for outdoor seating, which is a real plus on a mild evening. The interior is cozy, not huge, but well-used.
The atmosphere is informal, welcoming, and quite lively when crowded (you can sense the buzz of the busy place).
The staff is friendly, fast, and well-organized. It's more than just a pizzeria: it offers appetizers, first courses, second courses, and homemade desserts.
I recommend the spaghetti all'assassina (with or without stracciatella): sublime for the palate. In my opinion, the best ever. One small downside: they don't take reservations, so you have to wait in line to get in. But it's worth it.

We came the evening we arrived in Bari before a few days of road trip in the region. We had such a wonderful time that we came back for our last meal before heading home! ☺️

They served me incredibly well and were even kind enough to offer me chili oil to give my pasta more heat 🥰
My service was quick, the portion was large, and the Orecchiette I ordered was delicious. They were even kind enough to give me a shot of liquor at the end of my meal.

Siamo capitati alla Baresana la prima volta per una buona recensione che abbiamo trovato per un ristorantino in centro a Bari.
La seconda volta siamo tornati perché il posto merita davvero.
Primo giro: piatti tipici locali, buoni, abbondanti, ben serviti, tempestivi, portati con attenzione e cordialità.
Secondo giro: due pizze: bianca con gorgonzola e pere, rossa con pomodorini e ricotta saporita.
se non fossimo rientrati a casa, servirebbe il terzo giro per le pastasciutte.
