La Baracchina remains one of the places in my "comfort zone". Convenient parking, excellent cuisine, courteous staff and above all it is a place capable of satisfying any need from breakfast to aperitif, lunch and dinner. An unmissable stop for aperitifs in the summer in the spacious outdoor area and certainty if you want to eat good fried gnocco Advised!

I hadn't had the chance to return for a long time. Renovated premises. Aperitif with friends 16 euros. Recommended roast potatoes.

For the first time.. Very satisfied

I ate at this place for the third time a few nights ago. I'll start by saying that even though it was full, they managed to accept my telephone reservation for 3 people; really helpful and kind, I understood that they adjusted the layout of the tables to accommodate me. Punctual at 8.30pm they gave me a large table, really good, 110 cum laude. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even though there aren't many of them. The fried dumpling is super good as always, fragrant and non-oily, it arrives piping hot; the best in Modena among the various places frequented. The cold cuts are good and adequate in quality, despite being obviously industrial. The desserts are also really good. The room was then adequately heated, despite the freezing evening. Unfortunately it is a very noisy place, sometimes excessively so; no fault of the managers, having to rely on the education of the people....which often transcends. And I'm not a lover of silence!!! The prices are perhaps a little high and if they were adjusted for certain things it would be the icing on the cake. Passed with full marks. UPDATE MAY 2024 I confirm the above after dinner the other evening. The dumpling is always super. UPDATE DECEMBER 2024 This is confirmed by the food being really ok, a little less so by the heating of the large outdoor-type room.....it was insufficient, so much so that at several tables people ate with jackets on. It is time to improve this aspect because otherwise there is nothing to criticize.

Historic restaurant/coffee house in Modena. Aperitif evening, a Baracchina classic. Suitable for graduation parties, etc. I recommend booking.

Excellent breakfast and atmosphere, I will return

Cena a base di gnocco e tigelle con solo prosciutto crudo e stracchino (nostra richiesta), poi pinzimonio e due dolci. Gnocco e tigelle buone, anche se non eccelse, pinzimonio abbondante, dolci discreti. Il servizio è stato un po' approssimativo: prima è arrivato il cibo, poi dopo un po' i piatti, il pinzimonio senza condimento o ciotoline, le abbiamo dovute richiedere. Comunque il personale è stato molto gentile.

Conoscevo La Baracchina soprattutto per le colazioni, gli aperitivi ed apericena. Con la mia famiglia siamo stati per cena e siamo rimasti senza parole; tutto davvero ottimo. Siamo rimasti fuori sotto gli ombrelloni adiacenti alla struttura ed abbiamo passato una piacevole serata.
