La Baracchina In Orciano pisano

They use high quality food even if it's just focaccia and cutting boards. The environment is very well cared for, shame about the service on busy days that becomes problematic ... on a normal busy day everything is perfect.

Very good food but don't go there on Sunday. Today, arriving at 8pm, I waited 2 hours (literally) with 30 people in front to be served in the "focaccia" line.

Very good cutting board for 24 euros for 2 or more people. High quality cold cuts, cheeses and pickles and porchetta. The place is beautiful, it has both outside and inside seats. The service is excellent as it works by number, the line moves very quickly!

Even though we live not too many kilometers away, we finally managed to try La Baracchina. An enchanting place nestled among the wheat hills of Orciano. A very well-kept garden welcomes you, with various solutions between tables under gazebos or umbrellas or canopies. You are welcomed with courtesy and attention. Unlike the weekend where the greater turnout does not allow it, during the week you are pampered with table service. You eat good food, from rich platters to first courses and you can enjoy their warm and very fragrant schiacciatine. A relaxing and pleasant lunch break caressed by a light breeze. An experience to definitely try again, even for a juicy snack or a dinner with friends.

Every time I go to Orciano, I can't help but stop at the Baracchina, excellent views, excellent meals, a real spectacle of greenery and tasty dishes. For everyone.

Let me start by saying that it is one of my favorite places, but it is NOT to be visited during the holidays. For April 25th I arrived at 12.30pm and at 3pm I still had NOT eaten. I left. They should implement the staff on these days or organize themselves differently. Families with small children cannot be made to wait for this long.

A place that goes far beyond the simple sandwich shop: immersed in the splendid Tuscan countryside, this structure offers a relaxing panorama that captivates from the first glance. Easily accessible and with convenient parking, it is an unmissable stop for those who love authentic flavours. Open for many years, it is always cared for and renovated, maintaining a welcoming and genuine atmosphere. The dishes speak for themselves: hot and fragrant focaccias stuffed with porchetta, cold cuts and vegetables, platters full of cured meats and pickles, all quality products that tell the story of the territory. We were here yesterday, public holiday: lots of people, of course, but the wait is rewarded with every bite. A true Tuscan gem where you will always gladly return. (Stunning Porchetta!)
