Biagio's Baracchetta has been here... forever!
Family-run, Biagio welcomes his customers with simplicity and courtesy, serving typical local products, Ligurian cuisine, and the famous Recco Focaccia with Cheese, a timeless favorite.
Renovated over the years, it now features a simple yet welcoming outdoor veranda and a characteristic window-like opening where you can purchase Ligurian delicacies and drinks, as well as all the bar products and ice cream, to go.
Focaccia is an institution here in Recco: small discs of dough (like "fritters") filled with stracchino cheese and then fried in hot oil. Sometimes I've found them to be empty or lightly filled, as is usually the case here. They're handmade one by one; no one is perfect.

The best rice cake, excellent cheese focaccia. The only place where you can get cakes and focaccia with cappuccino (sorry for my Russian habit :)). The owners are always very kind. The all-day opening hours are a definite plus.

I returned with great satisfaction after about a year... and I obviously confirm the excellent rating. I'm used to Bolognese rice cake, or whatever sweet treats I've tried... I expected something else, but in any case, the artisanal cake I tasted was also good! I also found the beautiful city of Recco, with its beach and the local restaurants, to be much improved.

Excellent, congratulations. I was a customer back when I stayed in the "cave"... everything is still super super good, well done! Worth a try for those who aren't familiar with it... and then, of course, I'll return!

Highly recommended, the exceptional cheese focaccia (for me, the best in Recco).
And the focaccias are delicious.

Simple and friendly atmosphere
Fast and friendly service
Old-fashioned fillings just like my mom used to make, good cheese focaccia, a little undercooked and thick for my taste, good rice cake, and the pizzata was delicious!!
Portions are not large

The service may not be the best, but then again, with the heat and all those tables to serve, you can't expect much. The quality is there for the reasonable price.
This place is always a point of reference in Recco and remains a pleasant meeting place.
PS: I must admit, I've never liked the focaccia here.

Passiamo regolarmente e benchè con l'allargamento della baracchetta un poco di fascino si era perso, rimaneva Biagio o almeno la sua focaccia. Ora cordiali e accoglienti i nuovi gestori ma in cucina il declino vi è stato. Urge riprendere la tradizionale soluzione di un tempo e recuperare proprio sul prodotto servito. Anche i prezzi sono esosi, anche rispetto agli esercenti prossimi alla passeggiata. Peccato, ma si può recuperare.

Locale semplice ma eccellente lo frequento da 30 anni.
Focaccette indimenticabili e focaccia al formaggio veramente buonissima.
Il locale è spartano, se vi piacciono i locali raffinati può non essere il posto giusto per voi.
La vista sul mare é splendida, il personale gentile e simpatico, servizio veloce e prezzi giusti.
