The food is good, but you can't spend €100 (without a receipt) for 10 plates of cold cuts, 3 plates of ravioli, a steak, and a bottle of beer. Sorry, we won't be back because you've gotten a bit overpriced since last year. After all, you're eating on benches and paper placemats.

La Baracchetta di Luni is one of those places that seems modest at first glance, but stays with you for the honesty with which they do things.
The panigacci—crispy on the outside, warm and fragrant on the inside—are the best in the entire area, without question. Cooked to order, served with a simplicity that doesn't seek flash but wins you over at first bite.
You come here not for the look, but for the flavor.
And in an area where cuisine too often risks becoming a showcase, finding a place like this is a small luxury.

Restaurant frozen in time: typical local cuisine with regional variations, frogs (bigger than before and with batter, I prefer them now) and very rare birds to find, sgabei, panigacci and testaroli made on the spot (I recommend the trio with ragù, oil and pesto), eel and stuffed muscles (they recently updated the filling making it tastier, it was good before too).
The service is a little gem of homely friendliness, a bit like going to your slightly grumpy aunt's house when you were little (she's right anyway).
I therefore advise not to take it personally if it seems like a slow service and in any case even if you do take it personally, don't act like a Milanese on a trip who invoices and therefore demands or you will enter a limbo in which the arrival of your orders will cease to exist on this level and you could get the plates (but not the cutlery), the panigaccio all'olio (but you had asked for the one with pesto). And after this serenade to the owners/waitresses who have seen me grow up (I've been going for 30 years, the first time I was 17) good sparkling white house wine, excellent fried food.
They also offer the possibility of making half portions so you can taste everything
One of those places to return to over and over again, in the evening they also organize dance evenings, always calling first helps a lot both you and them so try it
Long live the Baracchetta and Cesarina

Very nice environment surrounded by greenery. Excellent friendly and attentive service. The fried eels and the grilled meat were delicious. Too bad the frogs were completely without salt. Fair price. Definitely worth returning.

Simple place without too many pretensions, very fresh, kind waiters and good food... right portions for the price... a spartan place that in the summer heat is perfect for eating a home-made bite... we will return...

We have been going to Baracchetta for several years, we really love the fried frogs and we also like the eel, the place is in Luni, only outside, but it is very peaceful, they also accept dogs.

Nice location, great food and friendly staff. Dogs welcome if (obviously) well-behaved. Good quality/price. I recommend it.

And where in the area can you still find perfectly fried frogs and eels? Alla Baracchetta, but also other delicacies
