Discovered this cabin after a hike starting from Righi. A fantastic find, a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, generous staff, pet-friendly, and excellent food. Lunch, aperitif, aperitif dinner, and dinner. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

I only stopped for a good coffee, the place is welcoming and an excellent starting point for excursions towards Forte Diamante. The place is also good as a refreshment after a walk to Righi. Highly recommended.

We had lunch with friends on Sunday at the Baita del Diamante. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Pansoti with walnut sauce, pesto lasagna, and a platter of cured meats and cheeses...all delicious! The garden chips were delicious! We'll be back!

I have always frequented this Diamante hut, for many years, now with the new management it has reached the maximum quality... we had two spritzes and they were delicious accompanied by hot and fragrant dishes... excellent quality/price ratio.... Well done 👍

We live not far away and occasionally come here for a walk. Last time, after a nice walk, we stopped for a great beer, which they brought us with some delicious fries! We haven't had dinner there yet since it changed ownership, but we hear good things about it.

Recommended for aperitifs, which are the perfect time to relax, enjoy good food, and spend time with friends in a welcoming and quiet setting. The Friday night aperitif is excellent! Rich and satisfying, the portions are generous, and each dish is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Everything is excellent: the quality of the food, the variety of options, the kindness of the wait staff, and the organization.

12/06/2025: I went for the first time today to have an excellent coffee standing at the counter in this small and welcoming café located inside the Genova Principe train station with tables inside and also outside with a view of the station. I have been frequenting several other places in Mentelocale for years every day such as in Via Garibaldi and in Via Balbi and I have always had a great time. In this café you can have breakfast and also lunch with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The staff as always in all the other places in Mentelocale are welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and they only serve you at the table at lunch while for coffee, toasts and other drinks you order, pay and then collect your order and good prices!! Fruit & Ice Cream Factory

01/08/2025: I ended up there by chance, I had a visit to the Grassi I got hungry and I stopped, entering I saw a nice bar but being hungry I only saw pastry shop so I asked if they had anything else and I swear I was amazed when her husband called and made us two sandwiches on the spot... What can I say, excellent, fresh but above all delicious, sandwich with chicken in their way and very sweet peppers. I highly recommend it
01/08/2025: A family-run café, discovered by chance. The pastries are excellent, especially the chocolate croissants. It's now a regular stop for breakfast!
