It is the second year that I have chosen the Hotel la Rosa for my September holidays, traveling alone. The location is ideal for visiting the island by MTB and the hotel itself has some e-bikes to rent. Don't expect luxurious rooms or spas, La Rosa stands out for the incredible availability, courtesy and friendliness of the owners and staff, for the genuine cuisine and, for those who like it, for the excellent choice of spirits. All at truly accommodating prices. Rich breakfast for a two star hotel with various types of cereals, yogurt, jams, Nutella, homemade bread, croissants and biscuits also for celiacs. Quality restaurant, so much so that you need to book, as it works a lot with local customers. It feels like home and even if you are traveling alone, you will never feel alone.

Very small place, with few tables in San Piero. You eat well, the service is excellent and you spend the right amount 👍. A little complicated to reach but with a view of Marina di Campo

We ate at the pizzeria. In San Piero there is only this pizzeria and two other restaurants. The pizza was good and reasonably priced (around €10 per pizza). Recommended: RESERVATION, because this is now popular with Italian restaurateurs. You also don't run the risk of standing in front of crowded restaurants.

Cibo nella norma niente di eccezionale, ci hanno portato della schiacciata insieme al pane che minimo era di due giorni prima. Serviti nei tempi giusti. Il prezzo leggermente alto ma non eccessivo

Dopo il terzo tentativo di prenotazione 😂 siamo riusciti a testare questo locale. Ristorante situato nel cuore di un piccolo borgo carinissimo,siamo arrivati stranamente puntuali e ci hanno serviti subito ma con i tempi giusti di una cena relax,come antipasto abbiamo preso i gamberi su crema di zucchini e delle polpette di baccalà in salsa di ceci,perfettamente equilibrati e porzione giusta. Acqua e vino che durante la cena ci è stato cambiato (non era così necessario ma un gesto molto professionale)perché la cameriera si era accorta di non aver portato il secchiello con il ghiaccio,abbiamo proseguito con i ravioli agli scampi e uno scoglio ricchissimo,li consigliò entrambi perché erano veramente speciali. Anche se eravamo ormai pieni abbiamo voluto assaggiare anche un secondo ,orata alla mediterranea che ha rispecchiato i piatti precedenti. Complimenti davvero,personale più che professionale e cortese e cucina da provare. Aggiungo poi un equilibratissimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Quando e se torneremo sarà una tappa da programmare sicuramente!
