Sebbene il ristorante serva ottime pietanze saporite (anche troppo), mangiare mentre decine di persone in attesa di tavolo, ti scrutano curiosi, parlando ad alta voce a pochi centimetri dal tuo… non e’ stato simpatico, capisco il periodo (agosto) ma e’ stata davvero un invasione alla mia privacy, meglio venire in bassa stagione.

Consigliati dal padrone di casa abbiamo provato il ristorante e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo. Pizza molto buona, polpettine di baccalà sfiziose e primi piatti di pesce cucinati veramente bene, dolci ottimi e schiaccina alla Nutella top! Personale davvero gentile. Peccato esserci stati una sola volta..da provare!

We had dinner at this restaurant...or rather, we had a divine dinner...every dish was exquisite, and the quality/quantity/price ratio was excellent. The pasta all'ottava and the ravioli with scampi cream were superb...incredible! The staff was genuinely friendly and kind. Highly recommended.
I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. But the restaurant was spectacular. The seafood spaghetti was delicious, and then I had the grilled sea bream. Friendly staff.

Attentive, friendly staff. The menu is small and exquisite, with everything your heart desires. The kitchen staff is happy to advise and also offers alternatives. The food is excellent, the pizza is very tasty and not dripping with grease. All around, top-notch.

We went to the Ottavo restaurant and had a great meal. The menu was varied and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return if we return to Elba and we highly recommend it.

We had dinner, and were warmly welcomed by the young staff.
The dishes were excellent; we had a charcuterie board for an appetizer, which was plentiful and delicious.
The first course was a stew and ravioli with Castelmagno cheese, both very good. The portions were generous.
The owner is very kind and welcoming, and the staff is friendly.
Well done!
The village is really pretty, all paved with granite, a long-standing local tradition.
The only advice I can give is to create two Google pages, one for the restaurant and one for the hotel, otherwise the ratings will get a bit mixed up ;)
