Me and my husband have been here twice and both times the food and service were excellent. We had the bigoli, tris di mare and the risotto, and I highly recommend the risotto. The wine selection is good and the prices are reasonable too. Their pazientina is the best I have ever tried.

Excellent traditional Venetian food prepared with care. Accurate service and helpful and courteous staff who explained the various dishes. Few tables in a clean and very welcoming environment. Excellent experience to repeat!

Get lost in a glass of water!
Let's start with the positive sides: the quality of the food and the menu.
Very good products, tasty and tasty dishes.
We tried what can be seen in the photo, I ate the bigoli, fantastic.
The menu has 6/7 proposals per course, the prices of the first courses are around €13.
Second courses around €16/17, while desserts €8.
Unfortunately the portions are small and one dish is not enough, thus leading to ordering at least two dishes.
The cover charge is expensive, €3.50 each, however, there are delicious hot bread, croutons and crackers which justify the price in my opinion.
Clean bathroom, although small.
Very narrow restaurant with tables along the walls of the only room that makes up the restaurant.
The negative side of this experience was the staff, who were very unwelcoming and after an hour of being seated, they warmly invited us to leave because they were serving the table. Avoiding facilitating the exit and without even thanking or apologizing.
It's really a shame, because the place is worth it, but you feel like numbers with wallets to open as quickly as possible.

Well-kept and clean place, excellent spaghetti with sea urchins, extraordinary welcome and impeccable service.

We have been al Officina al Beragliere today Sunday for lunch and same last Sunday. We where Sooo fortunate they had one table left. The food is so different from what we are used too. Just delicious. The wine suggested was delicate and perfect. Next time we are in Padova we will reserve a table!

The rating is the synthesis of good food but terrible management of reservations.
We had booked a table a couple of days in advance for 1.30pm. When we arrived we were told to come back in 10 minutes (the place is too small to wait inside). When we showed up again the table was not yet ready. We ended up sitting 25 minutes after the reservation time, waiting outside in the cold standing with an elderly person all this time. The answer was that they can't predict how long it takes customers. But the terrible management is entirely the fault of the restaurant: if two reservations are made for the same table they must be managed and the times of stay must be clearly indicated to customers. Otherwise they don't get smart and only take one reservation.
Otherwise the food is good. The creamed cod is particularly excellent.
