Friendly and helpful guys who also meet requests other than the menu. Really good and fresh quality dough. Not the usual frozen pizzas. Truly much appreciated!

Excellent halal food. Definitely worth a stop when in Venice. Take a left from the station. A short walk but worth it.

Ristorante Pizzeria Astro

16/08/2024: Until 2023 the "ASTRO" restaurant was managed by Piero and his family with a good standard and a wide variety of excellent fish dishes, and pizzeria service. An activity with a long tradition and mainly managed by the family that owns the business, with friendly and always efficient and helpful staff. Prices were in line with those charged in the area. With the end of 2023 the activity in this location ended but with the intention of reopening elsewhere. (3 July 2024) The "Astro - da Piero" management has reopened in the premises of the former "Marchesin" restaurant, near the dock, with the historic name "The Ships - da Piero". At the Astro there has been renovation work on the premises and it has reopened under new management which I have not frequented and therefore I cannot comment on it at the moment.
21/07/2024: Very good and digestible pizza. Excellent quality fried food, average prices. Excellent takeaway service, punctual and precise.
