Kyō-To Sushi Catania (Japanese Asian Contemporary Cuisine ) In Catania

We tried the salmon tataki and two classic pork ramen (the best of the few I've tried so far in Italy). The only flaw is that I expected the egg to be at least a little marinated, but the broth is flavorful, and the meat, in my opinion, is spectacular. The place is small and quiet, and we'll definitely be back to try the sushi given the very positive impression! The staff is friendly and discreet.

What a wonderful discovery! The sushi is some of the best in Catania, in my opinion. The place is very cute and the staff is amazing! I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

After two weeks of travelling around Sicily, we finally struck gold. We came across a superb Japanese–Asian fusion restaurant that also serves Thai dishes, as well as the chef’s own rendition of braised pork belly in sweet soy sauce. The flavours were genuinely authentic—more so than many fusion restaurants we’ve tried elsewhere. The food was so impressive that we returned the next evening, and all four main dishes we tried over the two visits were consistently excellent. We had the avocado salad, fried rice with salmon, ebi or prawn tempuras, red curry with shrimps and obviously the pork belly. We recommend these and also try other dishes too! Prices are very reasonable, portions generous, and the service staff polite, warm, and efficient. A heartfelt kudos to everyone at Kyo-to—a true gem and a memorable highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent. There are so many restaurants buying reviews in Catania that it’s hard to know where to go but this place is the real deal. The seafood was fresh and high quality. A great way to sample the quality of the seafood of Catania is to order sushi

Without a doubt one of the best à la carte restaurants in Catania, with just the right portions, a quiet, tidy, private atmosphere, and very friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it.
