Centrally located, easily accessible

The hotel itself and the room are very nice, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. The furnishings are quite luxurious, but some parts are also a bit dated (e.g., the mirror in the bathroom was fogged up, and the spa area in general is showing its age; some of the showers weren't working properly, and the sauna is quite old and small—it can comfortably fit about four people sitting down, but it gets cramped with more). However, other areas were very nice and more modern (e.g., the lobby, breakfast area, suites, and the lounge area in the room). The view from the spa area on the 5th floor is beautiful, both during the day and at night. The minibar in the room has something for everyone and is very reasonably priced. Although my room faced the pedestrian walkway, it was very quiet throughout. The bed was very comfortable and came with an extra pillow. Breakfast was varied, with bread, rolls, pancakes and other pastries, eggs, a rather small selection of cold cuts, various muesli options, fresh fruit and vegetables, juices, and a good selection of coffees and teas. A highlight for me was the massage with Elisabeth at the spa; a visit to her is definitely worthwhile. The reception staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating, and a late check-out was possible without any problems or extra charge. I was also able to leave my luggage at reception while I went out for lunch. All of this made my stay at the Hotel Krone a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend it.

This hotel is quite dated! If I had paid full price, I would have been very annoyed. The breakfast is unimaginative and always the same! The staff seems completely unmotivated! It's rare to find anyone who's had a good day. The rooms are old, and the bathrooms are outdated! I will not be staying there again!

Great location, just wrong season when I stayed. Car park is €15. There is a restaurant inside which serves good food.

Conveniently located in the city center, near the cathedral. The train and bus stations are within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and inquiries are answered promptly.

Breakfast was good, breakfast staff very friendly, room service spotlessly clean. The sauna area and showers are average, at a 3-star level. Unfortunately, you get the feeling that as a guest with a voucher, you're treated more like a second-class guest. It's a shame. Definitely better if you book directly. We still have a voucher. We'll check it out later if you book directly. And maybe the sauna area will be even better then. Be sure to look for rooms facing east.

12/10 stay! Perfect location right in the pedestrian zone – couldn’t be better. Easy bus access and even parking nearby. Huge, spotless rooms, flawless service, and divine food. Staff super kind and efficient. Brixen is lovely, but Krone makes it exceptional.

We received the best gift for our wedding anniversary from this hotel! With the free spa card, parking until checkout, the very kind staff, and the fantastic, central location. We'll definitely be back.
