Konditorei Alex – good ice cream and friendly service The ice cream was good and the service very friendly. However, I don't necessarily consider it one of the best ice cream parlors I've ever visited. Overall, though, it's a solid stop for ice cream – friendly, uncomplicated, and reasonably priced.

23/06/2026: Great rooms, great restaurant, grea breakfast. Would for sure come again.
31/05/2026: The hotel is a bit dated and located right on the street. We had a suite; the room was very large, but very dark. The shower was ancient and very uncomfortable. The mattresses were completely worn out. The hotel was very warm and smelled of food everywhere. There was no bar by the pool; you had to walk around the building to find one, which was also right on the street. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was very good. In my opinion, the room was a bit overpriced.

24/07/2026: So lovely! We had chocolate cake with cream and amarena cherry, which was very good, but even better was bacon bread with cheese and pickles. We come every year after the girls' camp at Papperlapap, and Boarnwald is a must!
