Kokoro In Cinisello balsamo

Legit good sushi in outskirts of Milan. Ordered their sushi set and octopus starter. Food was good but portions small. Would visit again if I’m in town.

I visited Kokoro in Sesto and I must say it was a truly special experience. The cuisine is authentic, with traditional Japanese dishes prepared with great care and the freshest ingredients: each course is a little journey to Japan, with a genuine and refined flavor. The service was impeccable: the staff, in addition to being extremely friendly, were very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and offering the best recommendations, making the dinner not only tasty but also interesting and full of discoveries. A special thanks to the owner, whose warmth and friendliness made us feel welcomed and at home: more than just a dinner, it was like spending time with friends. SPECTACULAR place. Intimate, small. Super friendly staff, everything. From the waiters to the Chef. Everyone super friendly. The food? Without any half measures one of the best Japanese in the area. Only a la carte formula: better this way because here the quality is superior. Truly succulent traditional dishes. Must try. Super. Prices aligned (high) but for what you eat it is all appropriate. It will become the Japanese for special occasions. Top.

We discovered Kokoro by chance and we were immediately intrigued. The experience confirmed our high expectations: the quality of the raw materials is perceived in every single dish, the workmanship and careful attention to flavor combinations makes every tasting unique. The intimate atmosphere and professional care of the service makes you feel at home. I recommend trying this authentic trip to Japan, we will definitely return in the future!

It disappointed me. I had high expectations for this restaurant, renowned and open for many years, but unfortunately they were not satisfied. I expected more quality of the fish and more care in the preparation. Prices a little high for the quantities. Too bad, I don't know if I found the wrong evening...
