We went to Kohaku for a dinner with friends and we left very satisfied, both for the quality of the food and for the relaxed and well-kept atmosphere. We tried several courses, all well prepared and carefully presented. The sushi mix was an excellent start: fish cuts executed with precision, well-seasoned rice and a balanced composition. You can immediately perceive that there is research and respect for Japanese tradition behind it. The rice with sautéed beef was also very good, tasty but light, with the beef cooked to perfection and a base of flavor that never tires. The skewers were another pleasant surprise: simple but well-made, each with its own personality. Among the various tastings, we also really liked the futomaki, tasty and balanced. It is worth noting that you can't find uramaki here, a choice consistent with the most authentic approach to Japanese cuisine. A detail that we really appreciated. In addition to the cuisine, what made the evening even more enjoyable was the service. The manager was present and attentive, managing to follow our every request with courtesy and professionalism, without ever being intrusive. We felt welcomed and looked after throughout the dinner. Kohaku is the right place if you are looking for a true Japanese experience, without unnecessary frills, but with a lot of attention to detail. We will definitely be back.

We went to Kohaku to celebrate my birthday and chose the tasting menu. Everything was delicious, with carefully prepared and well-balanced dishes. The service was extremely friendly and we felt truly welcomed. At the end of the dinner, they brought us a dessert with a candle: a surprise I really appreciated!

I had been eating Western food throughout my trip, so I was missing Japanese food and decided to visit Kohaku. I felt like I was back home in Japan and had a truly relaxing time. The hospitality was very warm and I was treated so attentively from start to finish, which made me really happy. I've tried several Japanese restaurants before, but this was the first time I'd ever felt such a "taste of home." I was moved to be able to eat Japanese food that I truly thought was "delicious" for the first time in 10 days. Thank you so much to everyone at Kohaku. I'm truly grateful that there is a place where Japanese culture and flavors are so carefully conveyed.

We had very high expectations, based on the other excellent reviews and its reputation. Unfortunately, while the quality of the fish was certainly high, we didn't notice any real difference compared to other similarly priced locations. We spent €190 for 12 nigiri, 6 hosomaki, 9 pieces of sashimi, a tartare, an eel on rice, and a half-dessert. The only dishes we were satisfied with were the eel and the dessert. Truly excellent. Except that we hadn't chosen the restaurant for its reputation compared to sushi, which was completely disappointing. The service was excellent, truly welcoming and helpful. But unfortunately, it's not worth it.
