Highly recommended. The staff were extremely friendly and enthusiastic, the food was quality and reasonably priced. Considering the standard of service in Tropea, I thought it was inevitable I'd fall for a scam, but this place surprised me and saved my evening.

A little gem in the heart of Tropea: Koes. A cozy and simple place, yet one that will leave you speechless with the quality of its food. I tasted a sandwich that to call unforgettable is an understatement: incredibly fresh fish, intense yet balanced flavors, a true delight. Rarely do you find such vibrant and authentic ingredients. As soon as we walked in, we immediately felt at home, welcomed with warmth and genuineness. True, the place could use some updating, but just a glance at the refrigerated counters full of brightly colored fish, and the aroma of fried food and freshness, will quickly make you forget all about it. An experience I recommend to anyone who wants to savor the seafood in a sandwich. Truly excellent, definitely worth a try.
