It's very good value for money. The food is typical Italian but no dessert though. The interior stinks a little and there is no air conditioning.

Three days ago I remembered why I will never go back to that place again... after the owner's bad scene with one of his employees whom he treated badly in front of everyone due to a misunderstanding regarding the rest of a customer, the foreign customer was I even heard people say "go back to your house". The owner is a super arrogant person. NEVER AGAIN.

Always loved kitsch since the time of the one in Piazza Beccaria. I must say that today the quality and quantity of food has greatly decreased but aperitif buffet with €15 drink included cannot be found elsewhere!

Perfect for the Italian aperitif. The place is large, there were not many people when I was there and the atmosphere is pleasant. The buffet is quite complete. Price in July 2024 is €15 for the buffet with drinks (soft drinks, beer, cocktails...). For one or two euros more there are special cocktails.

16/07/2024: Beautiful location on the Florentine hills between Scandicci and Tavarnuzze. Excellent food, wide choice of wines and very courteous and friendly waitress who can advise you on the right combinations of food and wine. Definitely worth trying.

Trattoria Di' Sordo

14/06/2024: Was looking for a local authentic restaurant and found Sordo. Really liked it. Good wine and food. The owners wife could speak English so no problems. Would recommend. It is local so families turn up with their children which adds to the atmosphere.
30/05/2024: I recently dined at Osteria Il Sordo and had a very nice experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The staff were polite and provided excellent service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Osteria Il Sordo for a great meal and excellent service.
