30/01/2026: My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ristorante Da Paolino during our recent trip to Capri, and it was nothing short of enchanting. We’ve heard it’s quite famous – often whispered about as a celebrity favorite and a must-visit spot on the island – but honestly, it didn’t feel overhyped or exclusive; instead, it welcomed us with a down-to-earth charm that made the evening feel personal and special.
From the moment we arrived, we were transported into a fairy-tale setting under a canopy of vibrant lemon trees, with twinkling lights and the gentle scent of citrus filling the air. The scenery is breathtaking: nestled in a lush garden grove, it offers views of the surrounding hills and a serene, almost secluded vibe despite being in the heart of Capri. It’s like dining in a private oasis, where the natural beauty of the lemon trees overhead creates a canopy that sways gently in the breeze, making every glance upward a delight.
The entire process was seamless and delightful. We made reservations well in advance through their website, which I highly recommend – this place books up quickly, especially during peak season, so planning ahead ensures you don’t miss out. The staff greeted us warmly and guided us to our table with such genuine hospitality that we felt like honored guests. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, offering thoughtful recommendations from their impressive menu.
We started with fresh antipasti, including perfectly seasoned seafood and their signature lemon-infused dishes, which were bursting with flavor and highlighted the island’s local ingredients. For mains, we indulged in the homemade pasta – the lemon ravioli was a standout, light yet rich, and paired beautifully with a crisp white wine from their excellent selection.
