Delicious arancina with vegan options :)
And the restaurant participates in the anti-Mafia "addiopizzo" movement! Highly recommended 😍

Ke Palle is the perfect place to dive into the world of arancine (the regional name for the fried rice balls). This spot is legendary in Palermo, not just for the sheer variety of flavors but also for the absolutely huge portions—you definitely get your money's worth!
We made this our first arancina stop, and it was a delicious introduction. While my daughter enjoyed the traditional ragù flavor, my husband and I branched out:
Pistachio: My choice, and it was indeed delicious! The creamy, rich pistachio filling blended perfectly with the crispy, fried rice exterior.
Aubergine (Eggplant): A unique and surprising choice for my husband, offering a flavorful, savory, and distinctly Sicilian twist.
It was definitely worth the indulgence; we all loved it!
The arancina here is the true definition of filling, satisfying street food. They are perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with intensely flavorful fillings. If you are hungry, curious, and want to try both the classic and the creative versions of this Sicilian staple, Ke Palle is an absolute must-visit.

As always, the best place to eat arancini. Being from Palermo, I use it as a safe place to eat them when people from out of town come to visit, so I don't have to eat the classic butter or meat ones. Otherwise, the arancini are filling but light, not full of oil like other places.

As soon as I saw "arančini" while walking, my eyes widened at the vegan sign. I went in to see for myself - to ask. The savory vegan ones had 3 flavors: tofu, vegetables and mushrooms. I had tofu and vegetables. They were delicious. I recommend it. They also had sweet vegan options. I recommend it, come by.

The arancini were large and delicious; we expected a little more flavor, but overall we liked them. The place is on a busy street, but we quickly found a table outside. The price was fair—€4 each. We've been back twice!

There's a wide selection of arancine flavors and varieties, but none of the ones we chose stood out. The upside is the large portions, and the arancine is fresh, tasty, and well-balanced. There's limited seating.

We stopped here on a Saturday in early November. Service was quick. Order at the cashier and take it outside to eat. Pork rags. Mozzarella and pistachio. Delicious.

Good arancina, but not the best we've tasted.
The place is a bit touristy.
