Nice and informal atmosphere but also discreet, well-run place, quick and friendly service, average prices, I've always eaten cuts and hamburgers and I must say they're always excellent, I can't comment on fish and first courses because I've never tried them, the beer is also good.

It's not bad. Let's say the quality/price ratio is good. The atmosphere is a little dark, but that's okay for the occasion.
P.S. The only thing I didn't like was the waitress dressed in black who acted as if she were the owner, not very cheerful, etc.

The atmosphere inside is lovely, but the covered outdoor garden is even more so...intimate and unique.
We only had two cockerels with potatoes and grilled vegetables, which, unfortunately, seemed boiled because they were watery and mushy...unfortunately, the potatoes also didn't taste like roasted potatoes.
They were good, but not exceptional because they didn't have a crispy crust.
I suggest presenting them in a more dignified way, because seeing a cockerel "impaled" on the plate isn't ideal. I ordered it because I like cockerel meat, but I definitely didn't appreciate the presentation.

We had a wonderful meal, I highly recommend it. The fish and meat were delicious, the service was excellent, nothing to complain about. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will be back.

A typical Livorno restaurant.
I visited Kavarna restaurant several times between November 2025 and January 2026 with my family.
A very welcoming place, always courteous staff, and excellent food at a fair price.
If I return to Livorno in the future, it will be a must-visit.

I'll start with the positive: there's a young waitress whose kindness and friendliness are truly above average.
You can tell the food is high-quality, but the portions are too small, and the pasta came with a delicious octopus sauce, but the portion was too small and overcooked.
When I pointed this out, I got no response (another waitress, not the very kind young waitress).
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. Again, you can sense the quality of the food, but the portions and attention to detail in the kitchen could use some work.
