Crispy chicken, fast service and fair price

Katsusando with egg was very good, as was the Japanese potato salad. Obviously, I can't rate the service because there's no table service, which is why I think the prices are a bit high, honestly, considering it's basically self-service. The atmosphere at Sidewalk Kitchens is very nice.

Good taste but portions a bit small. Service? What service? You grab your sandwich from a window directly from the kitchen and walk in a shared room with other 4 window-food places.... btw, 2€ for a expresso machiato (but served as "art-latte") in that shared room. Recomended for one single experience

Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, we are two adults and one child. We order three sandwiches, two waters, and a beer for €46.50. After a few minutes, we go to pick them up and ask for one of them to be cut in half. The cashier firmly and politely says no, adding that if they were to do it for everyone, they'd have trouble managing it. Incidentally, there were no customers at the time. I show my shocked face (F4 for anyone who catches the reference), and from the back, my partner adds that it's for our two-year-old daughter. The cashier, weighing it, says that then she's doing it as a favor and an exception, reiterating what she said before. That said, I have no problem with rules. When I'm a guest at someone's home, I ask and understand certain decisions that I generally consider legitimate. I'm truly the last person to think the customer is **always** right (which I consider stupid in that temporal adverb), but the customer should definitely be listened to and the context should be considered. Frankly, my request was polite, as well as legitimate, and I find the initial refusal and the burden of it rather surreal. Incidentally, in the 40 minutes we were there, they sold 5 sandwiches, 3 of which were ours.
