We have been coming to Tramin for around 15 years and the Kastelaz Keller is and remains a must! Such good food and always friendly people! Great! A culinary must, the best South Tyrolean cuisine and a varied daily menu!

Simple, rustic restaurant. In summer also outside under a vine-covered pergola. Clean. Family business. Friendly! And the young grandma’s home cooking is simply delicious 😋!

A great family business. Customer requests are very much taken into account. Liver dumplings for bacon dumplings. Not everyone can understand that now. Thank you very much, highly recommended!!!

Super delicious home cooking! We ate there 4 times in 1 week because we liked it so much. We found the salads (mixed, caprese) a bit bland, but the main courses are so excellent that I still give them 5 stars.

I had dinner here with my wife. It's a nice little and cozy restaurant. I like to eat hearty foods and also with lots of sauce. My request “more sauce please” was resolved to my complete satisfaction. Price performance excellent. For this reason*****

It's nice to sit outside. The staff is attentive and friendly. There are cold and warm dishes, with a lot of regional ingredients. There are also changing daily specials.

21/08/2024: Il giro del lago di anterselva è davvero bello, con il sole l’acqua diventa color smeraldo: una meraviglia! Più o meno a metà giro ci siamo imbattuti nel ristorante Platzl am See e avendo un certo languorino ci siamo accomodati. Il personale è molto gentile ed i tempi di attesa sono brevi: io ho ordinato i canederli pressati con insalata di cappuccio e strisce di speck mentre mio marito la polenta con funghi e formaggio. Devo dire tutto molto buono, i canederli erano buonissimi ed anche la polenta a mio marito è piaciuta tantissimo. Abbiamo speso il giusto. Lo consiglio, anche per un pranzetto frugale.
20/08/2024: Seguendo recensioni precedenti siamo venuti a pranzo qui, non siamo rimasti delusi. Polenta con gulash gluten free. Buonissima e saporita. Pennette del pastore normali e torta di grano saraceno senza glutine anche quella veramente veramente buona. Servizio velocissimo e gentile.
