We went here because we arrived late in Trieste and it was very close to our hotel. There was no one else eating there, which worried us a bit, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The guy who was serving us was very friendly and helpful despite us having very little Italian and him not having much English. The food was really good - very fresh and tasty. The tempura prawns and vegetables were particularly good. It was also very reasonably priced for what we got. I didn't eat any of the sashimi or sushi, so I can't comment on that. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
